"Let go! you're hurting me!" Exclaimed a young woman, being roughly dragged by the hair through a some what empty street
"Shut up!" The large male dragging her yelled, pulling her by her brown hair.
"Let go off me you bastard!" she reached up and scratched his hand with her nails. " Ah! You Bitch!" He jumped, turned around and grabbed her by the throat, holding her close to his face, watching her choke.
"Bastard?" he chuckled tightening his hold on her neck, "Oh I'll show you a bastard" He said dropping her with a loud thud.
She laid on the ground unable to move or think. Everything hurt, every time her heart pumped it felt like it was being ripped out her chest. Her lungs seem stiff.
*Move.. please* she begging her body
"Awn would you look at that..." she slowly turned to find him now with his hands in his pockets "She's trying to run away again" he bent, perching on his toes. His large figure blocking the sun from her weak body trying to crawl away. "Try Harder Mia..." His brown eyes scanned her body, the little whimpers she made anytime she tried to move.
"Come on!" He suddenly stood, opening his arms and waving them, catching the attention of the few folks walking around "This is your big chance Mia! Escape!" He laughed dropping his hands.
"See? You've been trying to do that for weeks now! I'm not going to stop you"
He pulled on the dog leash she had around her neck, pulled her up with it and unclipped it.
Then he pushed her to the ground.
*Get up.....get up!*
The voice in her head screamed.
Resting her weight on her arm, she pushed her upper body up and let out a groan. She then brought her knees to her chest, pushing herself to stand up straight.
"Wow! That's impressive!" he smiled.
She moved her legs to walk..but ended up staggering, almost losing her footing.
*try again*
She lifted her leg and placed it in front of the other, in an attempt to slowly walk away, and took a deep breath...
She scanned the area, " Church, p-playground-" then slowly she turned around, behind her was the soilder who had been assaulting her for the past six weeks, with his eyes focused on her, staring in awe.
His piercing gaze focused on her as he rested his back against a parked truck, smiling. His thick muscles and "-l-long.....l-long legs" She let out a shaky breath.
*he would catch up....if i head into the play ground..* she thought, slowly looking away.
She shook of the fear and faced the corner leading to the entrance of the church.
She took in a deep breath, even though it hurt her lungs, built up the last atom of strength she had left.
*Run!*
She bolted, running down the road heading for the church "Ah fuck!" she heard him curse.
The sound of his boots hitting the ground directly behind her made her insides scream.
*No! God! Please!*
She knew if he caught her again, She'd be dead
*Run Mia...Run..*
The pain in her lungs slowed her down, but she was very close to the door of the church.
*You can't give up now!*
Picking up speed again she pushed past the church doors, slipping and hitting her head on the edge of a pew.
Her eyes went dark but her legs kept walking, staggering and kicking things out of her way.
She heard the stomping of the boots again, they were much closer now. Almost like they were right in front of the door.
Instinctively, she dropped on all fours on the floor under the pews. Holding her mouth with one hand, praying for the pain not to overcome her.
*SLAM!*
The door swung open and he stumped in "Ok time's up!" He yelled, slowly walking around the church, whistling and knocking on the chairs.
She tried to crawl deeper into the small tunnel created by the pews and raised her knee to push herself a little further. Then she hit her open wound on the foot of a chair.
She covered her mouth with her hand, screaming internally her breathing coming out in puffs.
"There you are my Darling" She gasped, looking up to find a pair of hungry eyes above her.
"No! Get away from me!" She jumped, kicked his face and got up to run.
With her back facing him, he pulled on both her legs causing her to land on her stomach before grabbing a hand full of her hair and pulling her head back.
"You gonna pay for that you little bitch"
He slammed her head on the floor.
She was out cold...
