I'm so sorry , if only I wasn't so selfish.
This Morning.
Lia : Anna, are you coming with me to play in the forest?
Anna : No, sorry I have to finish reading this book.
Lia : But you'll have plenty of time to read your book, and what's more special than me?
Anna : This is not just any book it is a gift from Mrs. Christine.
Lia : Lucky wow, I never managed to speak to her. This old lady is always in a bad mood.
Lia looks at the cover of the book.
Lia : "The evening nursery rhyme" what does this book tell?
Anna : From what I understood from the story. There are teenagers who go on vacation for 2 weeks and find a letter in one of their suitcases. Inside there is a nursery rhyme.
Anna start to read the nursery rhyme.
" The 10 teenagers arrive at their destination but two people decide to go into the forest but only 1 will be found. "
Lia : It's okay, I don't want to know the rest. You know very well I don't like horror stories.
Anna : Okay...
Lia left the room.
Lia : Okay since she doesn't want to I will ask someone else.
Lia saw Mrs. Sarah.
Lia : Hi Mrs. Sarah!
Mrs. Sarah : Hi ! Do you want something?
Lia : Do you know where is Maria?
Mrs. Sarah : I think she's outside. Why?
Lia : I just want to play with her. Thank you, Mrs. Sa-
Mrs. Sarah : Mom :

Lia : Yeah...Mom.
After an awkward silence, Lia decides to leave the living room and go out into the garden and saw Maria watering the plants.
Lia : Maria!!!
Maria : Ah ! You scared me.
Lia : Hihihi !
Maria : What do you want?
Lia : I have a question.
Maria : What is your question?
Lia : Don't you find it weird that she want us to call her mon?
Maria : I mean even tho she isn't our real mom. She's still the one that give us the most love that we never had when we were child.
Lia : Yeah maybe your right...
Maria : That all you want?
Lia : No ! I want to ask you if you want to play in the forest with me?
Maria : Mmmmmh... Okay I will just watering the plants later then.
Lia : Yeah !
Maria and Lia were approaching the entrance to the forest.
Lia : You coming?
Maria : Yes, but I have a bad feeling right now. You know that the forest is dangerous and Mom don't want us to go to deep in the forest.
Lia : Stop being a coward ! If something happens to you, I'll be there. In addition, the forest is close to the orphanage.
Maria : Alright, I'll trust you.
Lia and Mia spent their time playing and picking up flowers or items. They were having so much fun that they couldn't see the time go by.
Maria : I think it's time to go home.
Lia : Oh no! Let's do one last game of hide and seek.
Maria : But it's getting late and it's dark, we have to be on time for supper or mom will worry.
Lia : Please!!!
Maria : Okay Okay! But after that we go home.
Lia : Yeahhh!
Maria : Okay, go and hide.
Maria : 1
Lia decided to hide behind a bush not far from where Maria counted.
Maria : 9
Maria : 10
Maria : Ready not ready I'm coming!
Maria started to look everywhere but couldn't find Lia. She decided to go deeper into the forest.
Maria : I told her not to hide in a place that was too difficult to find.
Then a crackling branch noise echoes in the forest.
Maria : Lia?
Absolute silence reigned in the forest.
Maria : Lia if it's you, it's really not funny. Anwser please! Go out of your hiding place! You won.
On Lia's side.
Lia : I've been hiding for 20 minutes and she still hasn't found me.
Lia : Maria ?
Nobody's answering
Lia : But where did she go?
Lia noticed the footprints on the ground and decided to follow them. She found a torch light.
Lia : I wonder who owns this flashlight? Anyway, She will serve me well knowing that I see almost nothing in this damn forest at night.
Lia walked for 10 minutes.
Lia : Where is she seriously?
The footprints ended there.
Lia : Ah shit! How am I going to find her now?
She looked around and found a writing on a tree "Only 1 of 2 teenagers will be found in the forest"
Lia : What is this!?
Lia turned around.
Lia : AHHHH!
She comes face to face with Maria's inactive body. In shock, she passed out.
