The eyes pierced into me as if the man before me was someone different someone I have never met, his eyes were cold and pierced me like a knife.
" Are you just going to stare at me or are you going to move?" He said with hatered in his voice. Its my second day working in the castle as a servant and i already pissed the king off.
I stepped aside letting him by and continued carrying the basket of laundry.
This is hell and I dont wanna continue being here, I hurried myself to the servants quarters to ask one of the older women how to get a wine stain out of one of the kings shirts. She took the shirt from me only to see her face go from color to pale as if she seen the devil himself.
"This isnt wine darling, this is blood from one of the kings courts." She grabbed the basket of clothes from me carrying it with one hand and pulling me with her almost dragging me back to the water bin. "You may be quiet now child but if he catches even a glimse of you and you dont speak he will punish you." I gulped and nodded my head only to whisper in a soft low voice "he saw me look at him and he walked away."
"You what!?" Looking up I saw her eyes widened and scared of what may come to me.

Shit shit shit I knew I was gonna be punished for earlier, I turned and headed with the guards to the kings chambers. Knocking on the door i heard "Come In." His dark voice was terrifying to hear, walking into the room shutting the door behind me he stood and walked over to me. "Phoinex, is it? Seeing as its your second day and you have already broken one rule-"
