"Hey, Vlad!" Akeldama screams as he runs into the blonde-haired male s room.
"Huh," Vlad answers lazily as he shifts his suit to the side a bit, trying to make it center.
"Guess who s going hunting with us tonight?" Akeldama asks. Vlad sighs and glances at him through the mirror.
"Entice me, brother." Vlad asks.
"Lazarus," he says simply. Vlad palms his face before turning around and glaring at Akeldama.
"Wow! Are you for real? Lazarus will go hunting with us. No shit Sherlock. He always goes hunting with us." Vlad snaps before shoving past him and opening his bedroom door.
"He has?" Akeldama asks, walking behind Vlad as they quietly walked down the hallways.
"Yes!" Vlad says, oh so badly wanting to punch the idiotic vampire in the face.
"Huh. Guess I've never paid attention to him." Akeldama shrugs. A pair of dark, blue eyes come behind Akeldama and he immediately shuts up.
"What's up, Lazarus." Akeldama says, turning around to the older vampire.
"Have you forgotten the word respect, my brother?" He muttered.
"You're such a bully, you know that Akeldama?" Lazarus says, making Akeldama roll his baby blue eyes.
"Right." He scoffs.
The thing about these three, are that they are all connected. All brothers. The eldest, Lazarus Ambrogio, has dark blue eyes. The dark blue that you'd see in those galaxy pictures or those Cotton candy lollipops. Akeldama Lioncort, has baby blue eyes, the type of blue that you see in the sky. They do however have hints of dark blue scattered in lines throughout the whole eye, which is cool. The youngest, Vladimir Aldonold, has icy blue eyes. Bright and mysterious. Hints of white blended into the already very light blue.
That's how other vampires would recognize them. The blue eyes that connect them.
"Where are we hunting this time?" Lazarus asks as they walk out of the mansion at which they lived. Vlad and Akeldama both look at each other before smirking.
"I propose, the woods." Vlad growls as he looks at the dark, lingering forest.
"What? No! Are you crazy? We all know It's forbidden! We will get trampled by those dogs!" Lazarus yells at them.
Akeldama scoffs, "Who? The Werewolves? Face it, we're ten times stronger than them. We can do a lot more damage too."
As the two elders argued, Vlad stared back at the forest, his icy blue eyes scanning everything that he could make out.
Vlad has always been the most adventurous out of the three. He's always wanted to go out in the woods, but vampires aren't allowed to for its forbidden. The barrier rests in the forest. Werewolves claimed the forest and whoever crosses the barrier, would be walking straight into wolf territory.
It's an agreement, a stupid agreement. Akeldama and Vlad have talked about going out into the woods many times. Akeldama, wanting to kill a few and Vlad, just wanting to explore. Maybe spy on some werewolves but that's really it.
"I'm older! Be respectful!" Lazarus screams at Akeldama.
"Oh, please! Don't you dare use the 'older brother' card on me, we all know you re just older by a year." Akeldama screams in a rhyme. Vlad quickly takes control of the opportunity and quietly walks away from his fighting brothers before dashing into the forest quietly.
Him being a vampire, he's very quiet. Barely makes any noise. Unless he wants too. He pulls up his hood and covers his face as he walks deeper into the dark forest.
His eyes fill with wonder as he walks around the forest, running his fingertips along the bark of trees. He spots a rose bush and squats down, slowly running his pointer finger over a roses thin stem, slicing his fingertip open with the thorn.
He glances at his blood before wiping it on his cloak. Just as he was about to pick a rose, a stick broke somewhere near him, and he froze.
"Oh shit." Vlad gulps and slowly rises off the ground, eyes glued to the rose bush. He could feel his heart rate go up, his icy blue eyes turning a shade of dark blood red. Vlad was ready to fight. He wouldn't hesitate.
"BOO!" Akeldama screams, making Vladimir jump and scream, making Akeldama laugh out loud, falling to the ground and holding his stomach.
"You bastard!" Vlad screams as he full of tackles Akeldama, throwing punches and showing his fangs.
"Hey! Both of you! Cut it out!" Lazarus shouts, pulling the youngest off Akeldama.
"You two want to get killed by a wolf? I think not. Now let's go. And next time you think about sneaking off Vlad, I'll hunt you down." Lazarus threatens before forcefully grabbing Akeldama's and his arm and beginning to stomp off.
Vlad pulls his hand free from the elders grasp before running back to the rose bush and breaking the flowers stem.
"Come on!" Lazarus shouts quietly. Vladimir nods and holds the flower in his hand. His eyes turned back to their normal icy blue as he dashes towards his older brothers.
Ares was going hunting. He snuck out because he loves the woods, loves exploring it. Especially at night.
"If Alley ever found out about this, I'll be murdered while sleeping" Ares thought as he walked through the woods.
He was quite hungry considering his other brother, Alaska, ate his meal for him since he was late for supper. Plus, a midnight snack never hurt anyone.
He's just aiming for a rabbit or a squirrel, either would do.
He sniffs around the air, but something catches him off guard. A new scent that he's never smelled in these woods before. Especially in their territory.
He wearily begins to follow the scent until it led him to a figure. A figure in black. The scent struck Ares nose and he snarled.
A vampire. A vampire, in his woods. Ares' chocolate brown eyes turn a beautiful shade of amber. He began to slowly walk towards the figure but accidentally steps on a stick, causing it to snap.
He hears a slight gasp, and he runs to the nearest bush, hiding completely. Then Ares sees it.
Why is the vampire staring at his rose bush as if it's a meal?
"BOOOO!" Another vampire says startling the smaller one.
"What the heck!" He screams. Ares was taken back a little. He never has expected a vampire s voice to be so high pitched. Perhaps it's a female? Another vampire comes out of nowhere and says something, but Ares just ignores it. He's too focused on the smallest one.
That vampire, it intrigues Ares. Just before they left, the smallest ran up to his rose bush and picked a rose before dashing out of the woods.
Ares gasps and quickly runs to his rose bush and looks at the broken stem that was missing a bud.
That little vampire picked one of his roses.
Ares growls in anger. This rose bush is everything to him. He planted it when he was a child, in honor of his mother. She was killed by one of them. A vampire. It was dark times. But he's always look back at the rose bush and be reminded of her.
Ares eyes slowly turned back to brown as he glances at a rose, on which its thorn had a drop of blood about to drip. He quickly puts his pointer finger under the thorn and rubbed the pad of his finger gently under the thorn, collecting the blood onto his finger.
Ares gazes at it as the blood drips down his finger, to his hand, and across his wrist. What if, what if he tracks that vampire down? No no no, he'll need more than just a drop of blood. He'll need a full sniff of that guy. Ares crinkles his nose in disgust at the thought of sniffing a vampire. Might as well just kill him.
Ares sighs before wiping the blood off on his shirt and grabbing a water bottle, unscrewing the cap and sprinkling some water over the rose bush.
"Ares." A deep voice growl behind him. Oh shit, He's dead meat, literally.
"Ares." The voice says behind him again. He slowly turns around and is met with glowing, bright yellow eyes.
"Alask—" Ares says.
"You nitwit! What the hell are you doing here?! If Alley ever found out—"
"That's why he won t find out." Ares growls, grabbing the white wolf's shirt collar. Alaska only sighs.
"Watch it." Alaska glares at the black wolf.
Area is indeed a black wolf. The youngest of his pack. That's why he has amber eyes. Alaska, second in command, is a white wolf, bright yellow eyes. He's not that scary, but when you piss him off, oh yeah. You're in for it. The second youngster before himself, Zion, a brown furred wolf with greyish, bluish eyes. And last but not the least, Alley, the leader of their pack is a grey wolf, dark orange eyes that pierce through your soul. One of the most terrifying wolves he has ever met. Though Alley can be scary at times, he is caring and protect full of his pack.
"Wait," Alaska says, grabbing Ares's arm and sniffing it. Alaska s yellow eyes widen, and he snarls.
"You've been around Vampires?!" He shouts, grabbing Ares shoulders and slamming him into a nearby tree.
"Oh, brother shut up. You know that I'd never—" A howl sounds throughout the woods and both Ares and Alaska freeze.
"Great! We're both dead meats now!" Ares growls in frustration.
"This is all your fault." Alaska snarls.
"Oh? Is that so? Well guess what?! I never asked you to follow after me, did I?" Ares screams.
"What? I got curious, Alright? Your scent was different. You might want to wash your arm off before All—"
A low growl sounds behind them as they both freeze.
"Alley!" Alaska says, both slowly turning around. They are met with dark, orange eyes. Piercing into their souls.
"Listen, we can ex—"
"Both of you, get home. Now. Before I drag you home." Alley growls. The yellowed eyed wolf dashes off deeper into the woods, leaving the youngest alone with the leader. Alley s angry. Very angry.
"What did I tell you about leaving the den at night." Alley snarls. Ares clears his throat while rubbing his nape. Alley glares down at him. Ares groans before kicking a stick.
"I was hungry!! Alaska ate my dinner because I was late since I was watering the rose bush and such. I'm starving, brother! I was getting food!" Ares whines.
"I was going to come back, but Alaska decided to butt in and—"
Alley snatches Ares wrist and puts his nose above it, slightly sniffing it. His eyes go wide, and he looks straight into Ares brown, innocent, doe eyes.
"Explain. Now." Alley snaps. Ares gulps before speaking.
"Before Alaska found me, I smelled something different in the air, and well it led me here and,"
Ares pauses. He should tell Alaska about the vampires but part of him wants to deal with those rats himself. Then again if Alaska ever found that he lied, his head will be laying on a silver plate.
"And?" Alley urges.
"And I found blood on my rose bush." Ares finally spits out. Alley eyes him before sighing.
"Don't sneak out again, Ares. I just don't want you getting hurt." Alley says, his eyes turning back to their beautiful shade of hazel.
"Come on. Let's go home Zion is getting all riled up and complaining that he's got no one to play with."
Alley says, throwing his arm over Ares shoulder. Ares stomach growls and Alley chuckles.
