Yzuri smiled at the news she heard. Her brother, Yuzro is really nice to the poor people. Yzuri knows how much her brother loves to help. Maybe it runs in their blood. All of the members of Morgid's family are kind-hearted but they can also be cruel and ruthless when they are angry. Everyone in the city knows that you should not mess with a Morgid.
Her phone suddenly rang. She immediately pick up and answered the phone. She frowned when she heard a sob in other line.
"Are you crying, Lizzy?" She asked while still frowning. It's early in the morning and she's crying? Yzuri's concern for her bestfriend risen up.
"Yz, what am I gonna do?" Her bestfriend, Lizzy said between her sobs.
"What? Tell me what's happening first? Calm down. Please," she said in a soft voice. After a minute of silence. She heard a sighed. It seems that her bestfriend, Lizzy is now calm.
"It's–It's about marriage. They want me to marry a guy I don't even love," Lizzy stuttered. Yzuri was silent for a second.
"Are you serious?" She asked. She was shocked because of the news she heard from her bestfriend.
"How I wish that I am just joking, Yz. You know, Henry is the only man for me. I don't want anyone but him. Only him!" Lizzy sounded like she's begging for some mercy in her lovelife. Yzuri doesn't know what to say.
"Why? Why do you need to marry someone? Is there any problem in your company right now?" Yzuri asked. She's worried that her bestfriend might do anything bad or something.
"You know, our company is not stable that's why in order to keep our company safe. They want me to marry a man from a wealthy family. I can't do this. I want to run away from my family, Yz!" her bestfriend stated. She started crying again.
It's only 10 in the morning and her bestfriend is crying like the world is about to end. She massaged her temple. She's getting frustrated because of Lizzy's cry.
"Will you please calm down? I'm going to ask my dad to help your company. You can stop crying now," Yzuri said seriously. Lizzy gasped in other line.
Lizzy knew that Yzuri's family is the wealthiest among the wealthy and knowing Yzuri's personality. She didin't expect her to seek for the help of her parents. She's thoughtful in a way the she will help anyone whose in need but only if she's able to help by herself. She's the type of a person who doesn't seek for the help of others even if it's her parents or brothers. She will only help if she's capable so she didn't expect Yzuri to ask her parents.
"Thank you. I love you so much my best girl friend!" Lizzy shouted between her sobs. Yzuri nodded her head as if her bestfriend could see her.
"Okay, call you later."
Yzuri ended the phone call. She stood up and went out of her room. She walk down the hallway in their mansion. Every maid who saw her gasped in shocked. She rarely leave her room that's why all the maid's reaction were all the same.
She's indeed very beautiful and stunning. The maids can't believe that even though she's wearing a plain shirt and pajamas, she's still gorgeous and sophisticated. The maids bowed down their heads when Yzuri passed by them.
Yzuri knocked thrice on the door of her parent's study room before she entered. She saw her dad is busy with something.
"Dad," she called the attention of her busy daddy, Logan Morgin.
Her Dad looked up to her. His eyes widened in shock. To see her daughter out of her room, it must be a special day today, her daddy thought. He smiled at his precious daughter.
"What do you need, baby?" Her daddy asked while smiling widely. She knows that she's the favorite of all the members of the family. She's not spoiled but it seems like she is.
"Daddy, can I ask you a favor."
"What is it? Go ahead."
"You know, my bestfriend Lizzy, their company is not stable so I'm just wondering if you can help them," Yzuri stated frankly.
"Oh, you came to help your friend, Taylor's company?" Her daddy nodded. She immediately shaked her head.
"No, it's not about their company. Her parents arrange a marriage for her to save their company but she has a boyfriend. I don't want to break her heart daddy. So help me," she said emphatically. Her father smiled at her.
"Okay, I'll invest hundredths of millions to save their company. No need to worry about anything, okay?"
"Thanks, Dad."
Yzuri was smiling from ear to ear when she got back in her room. She immediately dialed Lizzy to inform her a good news.
"Hey there Lizzy," she said smiling but her smile faded when she heard her crying.
"You're still crying? My dad will gonna invest millions in your company. It's a good news. You can now go have fun with Harry," Yzuri said happily but the other line is still silent.
"Come on, stop crying."
"Thank you for saving our company but the marriage is still not cancelled."
Yzuri frowned because of what Lizzy have said.
"What? Why?"
"I don't know. I don't know anything anymore. I want to end my life. I just want you to know that you are the best best friend in the world."
"Come on Lizzy, I am your only friend and stop talking nonsense. Let's think for another way or plan. Let's make a plan," Yzuri said in a hyper tone.
"What plan? My mind is clouded with thoughts right now," Lizzy said while still crying.
"Fine, fine."
Yzuri paused for a moment. She thought of something absurd but maybe it might work. They will only know if they try.
"Hey, I have a plan. Make me the bride. Go and tell your parents that you will deal the matters about your wedding. Only you and write my name. Only my name and not my surname."
"What? Are you serious?" Lizzy shouted. Yzuri immediately removed the phone near her ear.
"Why are you shouting? Do you want to damage my eardrum?" Yzuri said while frowning.
"Sorry about that but are you serious? Marriage is not easy, Yz. It's about making a family and living with a man. Can you handle that?" Lizzy asked nervously. She nodded and smile widely.
"You know, I have a boring and plain life until now. Why not go and get some thrill and fun. I badly want to help you Lizzy, don't worry about me. Besides, I wanted to experience a wedding," Yzuri explained. Lizzy is not sure about what's going on in her mind but they can't think of any other solutions. She can't leave Harry but she's worried about her bestfriend.
"You sure?"
"Yes, I'm sure.. Write my name as a bride and give them my personal information but leave my surname blank. Can you do that?" She asked. She didn't want to involve her family in her plan.
In fact, she doesn't have any idea what is going on. She just know that she's gonna be a bride and will marry a stranger. Her idea of marriage is limited. For Yzuri, it's just about church, white gown, flowers, priest and a groom. She didn't even listen to what Lizzy had said.
"Okay, I can pull some string so don't worry about that. I know that exposing you will gonna be a headline and I don't want to mess with your family. I can't risk that."
"Okay, Lizzy. Make sure that no one will know about our plan."
Yzuri is smiling ear to ear after she hung up the phone. She's excited about their plan. She's thrilled and she likes the feeling.
At lunch, a maid entered her room with a tray in her hand. It's time for lunch. Yzuri enthusiastically eat all the food leaving just the plate.
"THE WEALTHY FAMILY OF VENTURA ANNOUNCES THE MARRIAGE OF THE YOUNG MULTI-BILLIONAIRE AND THE CEO OF VENTURA'S GROUP OF COMPANY, ZAX TREVOR VENTURA AND THE DAUGHTER OF TAYLOR'S FAMILY, LIZZY TAYLOR. THE NEWS SPREAD WIDELY IN DIFFERENT CITIES."
Yzuri bite her lips while looking intently at the blurred picture of a man in the wide screen of her TV. It's the man she's going to marry. She got her phone and type the name of the man on search engine but all the photos were blurred.
"Hey baby girl, what are you doing?"
Yzuri held her chest in shocked when she suddenly heard a voice. She almost had a heart attacked because of her sneaky mom.
"Mom, don't you know how to knock?" She slid her phone under her pillow.
"Sorry, I forgot." Her mother laugh. She only rolled her eyes.
"Your father told me about earlier. Is Lizzy, Okay?"
"Yeah, she's fine," Yzuri said with monotonous tone.
"Oh! Great. You know, I also like her but I got the news that she's engaged."
"Yes mom and I'm gonna attend the wedding."
"Really? You're going out? What a surprise," Her mom said happily.
She wondered what her parent's reaction would be if they found out about her being married to someone.
"Yes, Mom."
"I wanted to attend her wedding but I'm afraid I can't. We have a business trip on that day for two weeks."
"Really?" Yzuri did not expect that. Seems like the heaven is on her side too.
"Why do you look so happy?" Her mother asked while squinting her eyes.
Yzuri just smiled and shrugged her shoulders.
