POV JESSY
Hi my name is Jessy. I'm 22 years old. I live with my mom in New Jersey in a small town in Paterson. My mom's name is Hope Jenkins. She's 34 years old. My dad is no longer with us.
He passed away but something tells me he's alive just hiding and waiting for the right time to come out. My dad's name is James Jenkins. He's 35 years old. He is a Mafia king.
Me and my mom work at a nightclub called Sexy Kitties. No it's not a strip club but with how the girls dress you might as well call it one. Anyway, I have two friends and they are the best friend's that I could ask for.
Dean Matches is my best friend but one thing he doesn't know is that I'm in love with him. I would rather keep it that way too. Then you have Dean's twin brother David Matches. He had a thing for me too. But I only like Dean.
“Jessy do you have to work tonight?”
“Yeah mom. Do you have to go in also?” I asked.
“Yeah boss man wants to talk to us.”
I wonder what we did this time or which one of the girls reported us?” I said.
“Me too, kiddo.”
We both get ready for work and see what happens next.
“Hopefully, we get a raise.” mom said.
“Right? All the hours we've been working I think it would be nice. We will see when we get there.” I said. We walked in and said hi to everyone.
We made it to work as always on time and the other girls hated that. They try their damndest to get us fired or not get the VIP section. I just laugh because I think it's childish. There's one girl that's cool, her name is Jen.
“Let's go see the big man himself shall we?” mom said.
“Yes we shall.” I said .
We walked to our boss's office which is down the hall on the left side of the club. sounds like he's busy with his flavor of the night.
“We will come back later.” mom said .
As soon as we walked away of course the flavor of night came out and started talking shit.
"What are you looking at bitch?"
" Nothing but a barbie that can't keep a man satisfied". I said.
“Boss man, when are you going to let a real woman rock your world? I mean come on, these Barbies can't be doing the job right if you're hard again, am I wrong?” I said.
“Jessy, only you know I have my eyes on someone but I don't know how to approach her. Because she's the most beautiful person that a man can ask to be in their lives.” Dean said
“Hmm, do I know this person?” I said.
“Yes, absolutely.” Dean said .
“I can help you out by just giving her name and number before I go home.” I said .
“Okay, sweetheart.” Dean said .
“So I heard you wanted to see me and my mom?” I said
“Yeah, that's true.” Dean said
“What's up?” we both said.
“Well we have guests coming tomorrow night. I need you and your mom here early, like 7pm.” Dean said.
“Okay, this must be big?” I said.
“Yes this is they are the new co-owners. You and your mom are the only ones I trust doing this for me.” Dean said.
"Okay, no worries. We got this.” we said.
“Thank you ladies for doing this tomorrow. I know it's y'all's day off. I appreciate it and you both get a better and good raise." Dean said.
“Thanks boss.” we said.
“You two can get to work now and you two can leave early as well.” Dean said.
"Thank you Dean. No problem, ladies." dean said. Now back to work we have a slow day.
Today was so slow I went to my friend Jen. She's a striper here.
"Hey Jen" I said
"Hey Jessy, when are you going to get on that pole with me?" Jen asked
"Girl you know I don't have the body for that." I said
"Girl stop downing yourself, you have a great body, you need to embrace it." Jen said
I smiled because I know she's right but I just don't have the confidence.
"Jen one day I will get on that pole but just not right now I don't have the confidence to do it." I said
"Jessy I know you will just remember you are beautiful and smart." Jen said
With that we laughed and had fun.
I had a strange feeling my mom was talking to Dean about me and him.
"Jen, I think my mom caught on to me about Dean." I said
"Why do you say that jess?" Jen asked
"Because she asked to talk and that was hours ago and she still didn't come out." I said
"Maybe she's him some pointers when he does get the balls to ask you out." Jen said
We laughed, this girl is too much sometimes but I love her.
"Girl, I gotta get back to work. I'll talk to you later." I said
"Okay baby girl see you later." Jen said
