I woke up with a slight headache. I looked around and realised something.
"This isn't my room" I said to myself. I realised that i slept outside. I became sad remembering what brought me outside.
**Flashback**
Evelyn came back from the hospital that her mom was fighting for her life. Her mother was diagnosed of cancer to be more precise blood cancer. After spending time with her mother, she left after seeing her mom sleeping peacefully.
"Ma'am, we are home" the driver reminded her after waiting for 10 minutes and Evelyn did not alight the car
She was lost in thought like she was since the day she found about her mom's health issues. It even became worst when the doctor told her that her mom's health was deteriorating. Her mother was her closest family member and the thought of losing her was heartbreaking.
Evelyn came down and went straight to her room. Passing her dad's room, she thought of talking to him but waved the idea off. She felt he was already going through a lot. As she passed the door, she heard unusual noises coming from the room. Wait a second, those were erotic noises and she decided to confirm. Then she heard a familiar voice that she can not mistake for another. She opened the door and what she saw was what she could not believe.
She saw her dad, Richard and her mom's best friend
her guess was right
on her parents' matrimonial bed stark naked. She didn't need a genius to tell what happened here.
Mrs Jane stood up and put on a robe and walked to where Evelyn was. The shameless bitch had the guts to even talk to her
"Evelyn, it is not what it looks like......"
"Then what does it look like tell me!!!" She was angry that she did not let finish her statement.
"Dad, you are cheating on mom, the woman that is struggling for life but yet she still worried about you. Yet you...you...did this to her." She could not hold her anger anymore and broke into tears.
Her dad was just there like a innocent which he was not. Evelyn left to her room and pack her load in her suitcase and left without thinking
Mrs Jane smiled seeing her leave
"This is just the beginning Grace, I will snatch everything from you. The table have turned, you will now be the unlucky one and I the lucky one"
**Flashback ends**
I was still crying when I heard someone crying. A few meters away I saw two people: a man and a woman. They could not see me because there was no headlight where I was. Who could they be?
