This is my first time writing a book, I hope you like it.
Raina ran bindly through the forest, with the moon and morning clouds as her meagre source of light. She has been running for a long time now, her arms getting harsh pecks from the trees branches, and her feet getting tired from stepping on all kinds of stones.
No one was pursuing her, but she was not going to wait till they did. They were sure to her room empty in the morning, then the whole kingdom would be searching for her. The moon shone with a temper and birds flew in silence, perching from nest to nest. They have given her no choice but to take her future into her arms. If anyone had seen her creep out of her father's compound or running away from the kingdom, they would have raised an alarm by now.
Her sapphire earrings, silver bracelets, gold chains and diamond ring have been hidden. She would sell the jewelries off to whosoever is willing to buy, and she had saved up enough money to come in handy later on.it was meant to accompany her, to her husband's house, the long awaited of her marriage.
" So what if he was the most skilled archer and fighter in the kingdom and other neighbouring kingdoms? Raina thought to herself, she didn't care if he had conquered lots of battles. None of this concerned her, and yet she had been chosen as a gift for his majesty, a prize for his achievements. How can a man marry a woman chosen by others? How can she marry someone she doesn't love? She thought to herself as she ran. She could already feel the blisters under her feet from stepping on sharp stones.
The more she tired she became, the more her mind drove her feet to move on,she could not bring herself to do the bidding of her father's wish.
She nearly stop when she taught of how much she was going to miss her little ones, the orphans she often feed with the leftover foods from her home. Life was unkind t the orphans of Narva, they had no food, clothes or proper shelter and roamed the village begging. So Raina has made their welfare her secret responsibility. She would sit them at her favourite hideout in she forest and sing them songs her mother had once taught her. She was worried who would take very good care of them, who would cloth them, feed them now that she was running away from Narva.
She would come back for them when things had quited down and in the meantime she would send food to them through travellers. She stepped on a sharp stone and she was jolted back the reality of her plight. Here she was making plans on how to escape her arrange marriage, but had no where to go, no idea of her destination her jumping hear would lead her foot to.
