Chapter 1

Let that light stop shining on me, so that my eyes are not dazzled by its charm,

I am just a fire that will extinguish it charm when it slides closer to me,

I'm willing to just be a star who can only see it from a distance

Let me suffer and let it give its light to another universe...

10,000 Years BC

His blue eyes stared at the glowing figure intently, barely blinking. He was so amazed by its beauty. Somehow God created this creature so that its light shines brightly throughout the universe.

Heaven, hell and the universe and earth where destructive creatures called "Humans" were created when the devils began to enjoy their new duties. But not with him who still hopes that God will let him live in a place called heaven.

"If God had commanded me to bow down at her feet, I would have done it."

"Master Leviatan, are you daydreaming again?"

The beautiful angel smiled and her two white wings flapped along with the wind that carried the scent of heaven. Leviathan tried to pretend that the angel didn't hear his heartbeat.

"Tch, does a devil like me need a heart to realize that I'm in love?" He thought. He kept a cold face because he knew no one wanted to see a devil like him smiling.

"You never smile, I really want to see you smile, Master Leviathan."

The angel was asking too much of him, he didn't know how to explain that a devil couldn't smile like an angel. Because they were created with fire filled with hatred.

"I can't smile like you. I don't want this heaven to be destroyed because of me. I'm still allowed to stay here, so I don't want to do anything unnecessary."

"Don't you want to come down to earth too?" Her face began to look sad, although her lips still showed a sweet smile.

"What for?"

"God started creating humans and all the angels will get their respective tasks. But it seems like God just wants me to stay here."

"What's the point of taking care of humans? They're just a bunch of creatures destined to become destroyers. They're useless!"

"But isn't that what we were created for? To take a role in the lives of humanity which will increase in number over time? Some angels have the task of protecting humans and avoiding bad deeds that will cause damage. However, the demons don't seem to want humans to did something right."

"You talk too much." He said. The angel fell silent and immediately looked down. Maybe Leviathan was right, she was a little too hopeful for something she shouldn't have expected. Because the job of angels is to obey and submit to God's commands.

Leviathan felt a little guilty, if he could be on the same side as the angel, maybe he could touch her. But a dome of light stretched out around him, providing a barrier for demons like him to approach.

The angel was filled with bright light with sparkling white wings, making him barely blink because he was too mesmerized by her charm. The only reason why he remained in this place even though God had asked him to leave was because of this one angel.

"Adora!" He called the angel's name, a name he had specially given to call her.

The angel raised her face again to see the devil's terrible face. But even so, she never once felt afraid and thought that Leviathan was an evil creature.

"Can I come closer?" He asked doubtfully. He knew that this dome of light was a barrier that he could not cross if he wanted to remain in heaven.

"I don't think God will allow it, Mr. Leviathan!"

"I just want to touch you once, just for a moment. I just want to touch your beautiful white wings. After that I promise, I won't come close and pass by that light again."

The angel was stunned, she knew that a prohibition was a prohibition. All creatures in this world are asked to never believe the words of a demon. However, her radiant heart made her feel that Leviathan was a different demon. He is not the same as Lucifer and the other demons. He was not created to bring destruction.

"Very well, Master Leviathan!" The angel gave him permission to approach even though this would be the first and last time they would be close together without a barrier of light blocking them for millions of years.

Leviathan has been waiting for this for a long time, it doesn't matter if after this he will receive punishment from God. As long as he can touch the angel just once, he will feel very happy.

Leviathan brought darkness from his side through the barrier light that prevented creatures of darkness like him and the demons from approaching the heavenly area.

The moment his feet stepped onto the forbidden ground for demons like him, the grass and plants of heaven withered instantly. The angel began to get restless, it seemed that what he was doing would bring great disaster.

"Master Leviathan, I think that's enough! You can go to that side, I think God will be angry if you get any closer here!"

"But, I want-"

"I beg you, Master Leviathan!"

The gardens of heaven decorated with beautiful and radiant flowers turned into gardens of destruction and darkness. The angel knew that the other angels were starting to get closer to their place to see what was happening.

"Get out of the way you devil...!" An angel with wide spread wings threw light towards Leviathan whose arrival passed through the barrier of light destroying the garden of heaven.

Leviathan was pushed away when the light in the form of crystal shards hit his body. He knew that he was too reckless when none of the demons dared to approach.

"What are you doing? Why did you let him in?"

"I'm sorry! But Mr. Leviathan just wanted to see me up close for a moment!"

"Listen to me! It has been decreed that the devil is not allowed to set foot into the garden of heaven, let alone pass through the barrier light. You are very careless, now look at the damage he causes!"

The angel just realized that the entire garden of heaven had turned to ashes. Flowers and shady trees were burnt. There was chaos where the angels attempted to extinguish the fire from hell.

The leader of the angels so angry, he had never felt this angry before. He looked at Leviathan who was still standing in place and not trying to move despite the chaos everywhere.

"Leviathan, it seems like a mistake because I was the one who asked God to let you stay in heaven even if only up to the limit of the limiting light. It turns out you are no different from other demons who always break promises!"

"I just want to see Adora without the barrier light for a moment, after that I will definitely return to my place!"

"Who are you to dare give her a name? Leviathan, have you forgotten your destiny? Your mouth is the door to hell for mankind who will one day go to that terrible place! Therefore, throw away your desire to touch it if you don't want it to burn because of the fire you brought from hell!"

"What do you mean? She won't burn just because I touch her!"

"She's just an ordinary angel, she doesn't have the strength to survive the fire that comes from your body."

"That's not possible!"

"I don't care if you want to believe it or not!"

Leviathan really couldn't believe that he almost touched Adora. His eyes widened as he looked at Adora who smiled gently at him as if she already knew that Leviathan should not touch her.

"Adora, why?"

"You are very kind, Mr. Leviathan. I just wanted to thank you." She said in a very melodious voice.

The leader of the angels in heaven asked Leviathan to leave immediately before God acted directly to expel him after the chaos and destruction he caused by his arrival.

"Leviathan, go!"

Leviathan and Adora stared at each other for a few moments. Adora plucked one of the feathers from her wing and gave it to Leviathan. Leviathan picked up the white feather that floated towards him. The white feathers did not burn like the plants in this place.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Leviathan. I cannot reciprocate your feelings. I was not created to love like humans and demons. I was created to submit and obey God, without having wishes and desires. I am so sorry. Thank you for paying attention to me. Thank you so much."
