Introduction

After losing her parents, her grandfather hid her from everyone's eyes. Years later, she's ready to take over the company and find the murderer of her parents. That's when she met William. She never thought that her grandfather would eventually match them. He had it planned since he trusted William and she indeed falls in love and became possessive, afraid of losing, again. “No one can ever have you, but me, William. You are tied on me. Not even that slutty secretary of yours.” “It was a setup! I—God! I’m sorry, I should have noticed it sooner. I never had an affair with her, believe me.” “Take him away.” She can’t bear seeing him like that. “No! I’m not going to leave you and our child!” he was stubborn as hell. “Take him away!” She demanded and three security guards dragged him away as he kept screaming her name begging her. She looked away and broke into tears holding herself for not sobbing. “Why are you doing this Khaleesi?” Falcon suddenly asked. She wiped her tears and wait.

Chapter 1

Señorito Alfero pulled out the white cloth that covers the body of his only son. His only child at this moment. He felt alone again. The death of his wife, Valentina devastated him that almost everyone tried to grab that opportunity just to get on him and deceive him. His only daughter Eloisa died of cancer at the age of twelve and still, his family survives because of it. But now? How could he survive?

He pulled up the cloth again on the other corpse of his son’s wife. The one that his son traded from his throne on the company and as his successor and heir. He loves his son dearly and doesn’t want to lose him as well. Though his wife wasn’t from a high ranking in the economy—he accepted her with open arms and didn’t regret it until now.

“I want their body criminated.” He spoke to his people. But those people—he never trusted them anymore. He doesn't know whom to trust and not to trust.

His bodyguard, assistant, and accompaniment were the most loyal of them all. Albert has a son—the only son whom he sends abroad to a boarding school. Give him enough allowance for his son’s leisure and in exchange his loyalty and his protection to his last heir.

They went to the most expensive room above all of the hospitals that he owns. His princess. His Khaleesi. The six-year-old girl, Khaleesi Nayely D’onofrio, his only grandchild is weeping while her nanny is hugging her.

“Khaleesi,” he called and the broken girl looked up at him. “You are the Queen, come here and greet your grandpa.” She’s a little afraid of him. He understood that. He’s too pushy and all but he loves his family and he loves her.

Her nanny whispered something and she shook her head.

“I want my Mommy! I want my Daddy!” she screamed. Of course, she’s a spoiled brat but her mother was a lovable one. She was full of love back then until the incident.

“Leave us.” They did leave them and he strode to the bed too big for her. He sat down beside her and she’s hugging her white bunny. “Khaleesi, do you know that your name means Queen?” she shook her head. “Of course you are the Princess, sweetheart. The Princess of D’onofrio. Now—you aren’t just to stay as a Princess but to be a Queen.” He reached his hand to her and she took it. “Darling, we have to say goodbye to them.”

Her lips wobble and her eyes—show lots of emotions. He kissed her little hand.

  “Daddy promised me, Disney.”

“We will go there—but you know that we can’t bring daddy and mommy.”

“I don’t want to go there. I just wanted Daddy and Mommy with me.” He caressed her cheeks wiping those tears. “Don’t leave me, Papa.” She did call him Papa.

  “I won't do my Khaleesi.”

They went to their mansion in Tagaytay. Little away from other houses, peaceful and very much calm. After a night of funeral from their house near the Global city, they leave those people and hide their granddaughter away from everyone’s eyes.

The house was empty. But they have a caretaker that lives in the maid’s quarter on the west wing. She sat down on the staircase while hugging her white bunny doll.

“Do you need anything, sweetheart?” the Mayor Doma of the house—the one who manages the house asked her. She shook her head. “How about food?” Phobe insisted.

She stood and ran off. Don Alfero faced Phobe—the one taking care of the house and he trusted her and his husband. Since her husband’s parents were working with them for generations.

  “Let her be.”

“She needs a companion. My daughters will probably help her.”

“I won’t keep her here long, Phobe. She needed to be away—very much away from them. They wanted to kill my Khaleesi before I even die.”

  “Oh, Signor, she’s safe here.”

“I know she will be in your hands. But not that long.” Alfero tail Khaleesi to the garden and found her there sitting on the grass. As a young man—older than his granddaughter, the eldest of Phobe and Norman, kneel in front of her and show her something.

It seemed that it caught Khaleesi’s attention. A big butterfly in the jar. He didn’t go closer. Of course, he doesn’t like a lowly boy approaching his granddaughter. But something was magical as he looked at them.

“This is my friend Flurry. I’ll let you have it for a night.”

  “Just for a night?”

“Yes. Flurry has family as well and she needs food from the flowers that we grow here. Butterflies need freedom as well just like people. Just like us. Free from anger, pain until happiness makes their heart's content.”

“But it’s beautiful—I wanted it with me forever.”

“There’s no permanent in this world, Princess. Just like love and life. If there’s no life, there’s no love and the same on the other way around. So tomorrow, you have to let go of Flurry.”

Khaleesi seemed to think with a frown.

  “Let go?” The boy nodded.

“Just like that—so they will be free.”

“Just for a night then.” She agreed.

Alfero called Phobe and her son on his study. They knock before entering and they stand in front of his desk.

“What can we do for you, Signor?” Phobe asked.

“I simply wanted to talk to your son, Will. I saw him talking to my Khaleesi.” Phobe gets pale and the boy opens his mouth.

“I didn’t do anything wrong but talk to her, Sir. And I’m sorry if that wasn’t prohibited.”

“No.” he laughed. “That wasn’t. I heard you talk to her. And tomorrow, if she free that butterfly—I’ll give you a good offer that everyone would like.”

“O—Offer?” they both seemed surprised at Alfero’s mood. He nodded. “What offer sir?”

“I’ll send you abroad—most prestigious schools in the USA or even in Europe if you wanted. I’ll pay for everything. The place where you will stay is safe as well. Complete with a maid to clean for you, cook for you. You won’t even work. Just study and graduate from Business school.” They both drop their jaws. Don Alfero only chooses his scholars. “In exchange, I want you to be loyal not just to me and to my family—but the heiress. Khaleesi Nayely, my one, and only family. I want you to be there for her, serve her and protect her.”

  “B-But why me?”

“Because, son, I know that you are smart and you have talent. And that talent cannot be wasted. This is one last chance and your one-way ticket for a beautiful life of your family.”
