After attending my father's death anniversary, I was heading home. Winds were blowing heavily, it looked like it would rain in any time. While walking through the streets, busy in my thoughts I was wondering if this is what life was, loosing your loved ones one day can leave you in such unbearable pain. First it was Mom, and then dad the only person who loved me has left me.
My father was the closest person to me. Mom had left me alone when I was eight, after that he was only one who took care of me.
Memories of him were rushing through me, I didn't even know when it started raining, I used my purse as a support below my head and found a corner to stop at.
My phone started buzzing it was my best friend Lily.
"Hey Elena are you okay?" she asked worryingly, she already knows that today's my dad's ceremony and I would be probably sick because of crying.
"Yes I'm fine, heading home don't worry" I answered as calmly I could.
"Okay good to know, take care see you tomorrow bye"
"Bye"
Rain had already stopped,it was around 10pm I won't find any bus now as I have already missed the last bus. I had to walk through streets. The road to my home is not that far I can reach nearly withing 20 min.
I reached half of the destination, but the street was unexpectedly very quiet and less crowded today, only the voice of rain could be heard.
Suddenly I heard the sound of gun shot it wasn't that loud only people who were passing through the streets could hear it. Surprisingly I couldn't see anyone other than me.
I rushed where the sound of gunshot came from. There was a man wearing a suit who was shot in his knees and his white shirt was stained with blood.
Judging from his appearance he kind of looked like an agent or something. Surprisingly no one can tell he had been shot because he was been calm not even making a noice.
I went near him to get a more clear look on his wound and then noticed that he had even been stabbed with knife on his stomach.
She had once learned how to remove a bullet from the wound because her dad was a doctor who was quite dedicated to his work. He once taught her when he was treating the wounds of a military men.
I decided to call an ambulance because even though I learnt I'm not that experienced in treating wounds practically.
I saw the guy in white shirt and red tie was trying to say something.
"Ju-st Don-'t ca-ll the ambu-lance ta-ke m-e some-wh-ere el-se"
he said trying his best to say the words clearly yet his voice was cold without any emotions.
I then noticed his face more clearly his eyes were as blue as sea which I now couldn't ignore, his body looked so perfect, he was just effortlessly fine.
No I had to come out of my imagination what am I even thinking.. probably in these situation?
After taking a look at his wounds it looked quite serious so I had no other choice than to hurry up and treat it.
