“Mira, wish and blow your candles” my mom whispered.
After I blowed the candles, our house filled with noice coming from speakers, people and childrens.
I was about to go to my room when my cousin Jenny called me.
“Hey Mira, Happy birthday!” she greeted blissfully and hugged me.
“Ahh wait me here mira, I'll just get my gift” she said and i saw her holding an old book.
“I know you really love reading stories, so i'll give this book of mine to you” she said and gave me a genuine smile.
“Old book? What story is this? Grandma and grandpa's love story?” I said with my confussed face
“Of course not HAHAHAH” her response and we laugh.
“read the title of it” she said joyfully.
“My...diary?”
Huh? This must be someone's journal, as I see the penmaship of it, it looks like the owner of this is not a teenager, So probably this isn't jen's property.
“This is a personal journal jenny, why are you giving me this?” I said while still looking at the book.
“Let me tell you a little details about that, if we can go to your...room?”
“Of course, let's go” I said and we go to my room.
“The story of that is the teenage girl fall inlove with a stanger, and you know the stranger is a little bit mysterious, base on what i have read” Jenny said.
There's inside me that really want to know the story, maybe i'am just really curious. This is a diary for pete's sake.
“mysterious? Wow I never had read like this story before”
“that's why I gave that to you mira, please take care of it” she said and smirk at me.

“o...k, i'll promise” my respond and smiled.
“so yeah, again happy birthday, hope you like it” she said and left me alone at my room.
“I really like it jen, thank you!” I shouted hoping she hears it.
I change my dress into my casual clothes and get the book again not until I hear mom shouting.
“Mira, get back here!”
“Ok mom!” I shouted back.
I'am super curious about that journal, I have my journal too but i used to hide it where no one sees it.
“Arghh, later at night before I sleep, i'll read you.” I talk to my book as if it will talk back.
I put the book at my book shelves and get back down stairs.
“Happy Birthday mira!”
“Happy bithday baby girl”
“Happy day mira!”
As my new coming relatives greeted at me.
“Thank you” my respond and give them genuine smile.
I went to my mom to ask where's jenny but she said jen never go here, or it's just her who didn't noticed jen.
I really find my cousin Jenny is wierd, start from that book and not informing mom that she'll come.
I entertained some visitors while mom and dad busy at the kitchen.
“Ahmm... Excuse me aunt, i'll just go to mom” I said politely and smiled.
“of course honey, you can go” her response and smiled back at me.
“Mom, can i go to my room now?” I ask.
“Ok sweetheart, go and open your gifts” my mom said and smiled.
“Thanks mom.”
When I get back to my bed, I remember the diary again. It always comes on my mind like someone's persuading me to read it.
I opened the book and read the first page. January 15, 1934
Dear Diary, I went to church yesterday, and i saw a boy. Wait not a boy, a man for sure. There's a poor girl on the street, craving for foods and needs, even me I pity her. I put back the book again where it belongs and get my phone to entertain myself.
I find it boring at the first glance, maybe when I get read all of that, i'll see how her stort beautiful.
