Present day
She opened her eyes slowly she stood in the rain with her luggages on a cold Wednesday morning she was lost in her thoughts, she had more on her mind and the pain she bore numbered the stinging effect of heavy drops of rain on her skin .
Was she going to die ? Who is she ? Where is she heading to ? Those were the questions she had kept asking herself these past few days.
As a long drawn sigh loudly escaped her lips , she realized she had once again fallen into one of her numerous thinking routines, she had been slipping into them more frequently these past few weeks
When will this end ? She sighed again as a teardrop trickledown her cheek …… she wiped it away , muttering “ please help me ! I swear to marry the first man I cross path with” She waited for about 2 hours but nothing happened “ yah ! Yah ! Yah ! god is selfish! i hate you” she kept hitting her foot on the ground with her hand behind her back she paused and cleared her throat.
Suddenly the same car she had observed previously stopped by , the driver honked several times to grab her attention but she pretended not to hear , what does he want from Me? Idiot! She was slightly irritated that the man was disturbing her peace .
She pretended not to see him coming down from his car with an umbrella over his head
“ what’re you doing here ?” He asked but she didn’t reply
“ you could be sued for trespassing why don’t we make this up ? Later in a tube of cold water and you know …….? he said scratching his head like he was thinking of something else to say .
Still no answer from the lady how strange ! He moved closer to her as if to cover her with his umbrella , as he drew near he noticed that this strange woman was actually beautiful and attractive even in her present state .
“Can you lend me some money?”
She finally spoke for the first time in two hours
“ are you mentally stable ?” He asked in utter disbelief using his hand to touch her forehead she jerked back a little
“ I have Amnesia” she turned to look at him well for the first time as she faced him he swallowed hard , the lady in front of him was slender , dark-haired with a pale skin , she had large round blue eyes not too straight nose but they fit in perfectly well in her intelligent mobile face , it was a face that was attractive and beautiful, a face that reflected dignity ,pride and respect a face that captivates any living thing
“ care for a drink?” he managed to ask after finding his voice
She looked at the coffee shop strangely
“ what’s your name?” He finally asked after adoring her for a very long time as she played with her food casually
she raised up her head to find him staring at her not in a thoughtful way rather he looked annoyed and frustrated but he was damn handsome
“ what’s your name?” He asked again removing his eyes from her chest she was tempting him
“ name huh ? I don’t know” she said innocently with a mixture of pain in her voice , she dropped her gaze and focused on the food again she was quite a bad eater
“ who should I hold responsible if y….”
“ me” she said interrupting him she focused on her food again
“ I see you do have amnesia, you stink” he said covering his nose with the table cloth
She touched her hair and smelled it she immediately passed out
8 hours later
She opened her right eye and then she closed it back , she still kept her head untop the table , her curly hair was scattered across the table and on her face , luckily for her there was no one in the cafe how strange she thought.
Raising her head from the table she noticed the man from earlier had disappeared she scoffed and picked up something from the table it was his business card “Bastard!!” She cursed under her breath
How could he leave her alone ? Why didn’t he wake her up ? Just then she heard a familiar voice behind her , the person called her by her name “ Tannita!”
