My name is Jayden Williams,i turned 16 this year and guess what,this is my last session in High School and all preparations has started for college,my exam is in two weeks time and i hope i pass it so i can go to college but for now, let me focus on my last year in high school, i need to leave a legacy behind, yes i am stubborn and annoying, well you do not need to tell me that,my elder sister,named Elena always remind me of that but yet, i am a lovely sweet girl.
The teacher finished her teaching but I was busy gisting with my squad in class when she yelled at me,"Jayden, do you think your finals at high school are a joke or what?"
"Nah Miss Cherry,i am going to make sure you won't forget about our set and your one and only stubborn student Jayden." The class applauded me, before the teacher could reply, we heard the bell meaning her teaching period for today is over.
"I will make sure I deal with you when next you misbehave." She said before taking her leave.
"Jayden are you going home now,remember this is our last year in this school,let's go and have fun." Catherine said and we all agreed.
We are like the hottest girls in school, our uniform skirt is damn short and guys are dying to get into our pants.
Stepping out from the school,one of us said,"Guys, don't you wish to know your future? Let's visit the soothsayer."
"I can not believe you have hope on those, they are all liars."
"Jayden do not conclude,only one way to find out, let's go in, then in the future we confirm it." Caroline added.
"Jayden she is right, let's try it out." Catherine added.
"Okay fine, you girls win, let's go in there then."
It was just a three minutes walk to get there. We three sat facing the soothsayer who did some funny things, she requested for each person's hands,i refuse to give mine first,Catherine was the first to give her hands,the old lady held it and said with her eyes close,"You will be a successful business woman but your lover will not meet your criteria on your wishlist." The old lady opened her eyes saying,"Trust me,he will be a billionaire."
"I cannot wait to grow up, thank you so much ma'am." Catherine said feeling excited about it." She did the same process with Caroline by holding her hands,she got excited also knowing her future, it got to my turn but i noticed something strange about her,her eyes got widened like she saw a monster,"You came back because of love and i am afraid,it might repeat itself again,find a good human to love, guide your heart, make sure you do not fall in love with a guy always on black and red most times,he is a demon that feeds on blood,make sure you stay clear because i could see blood all around you." I felt this strange movement in me and forced my hands out.
"Go to hell, old lady." I yelled at her leaving the place as my both friends came after me.
"I told you both that she is fake,I came back my ass, I have never been here before." I scoff.
"Jayden, you are so impatient, coming back to me might mean a reincarnation,maybe you had a past life and it was doomed out of love and she is just giving you a warning not to make that mistake again."
"Whatever,so let's get something to eat, what do you say?"
"I am sorry Jayden but I just remembered, I had to help mom in the kitchen maybe next time."
"Same here, I got to help my aunt deliver something."
"Really,you both are fun killers,i myself have something important to do for my sister and dad,lets just be the naughty kids,come on guys." I did not know they left already while I was talking.
"It's fine then, i will go alone."I know i can't even go alone because it will be boring as well,no one to talk to but let me tell you a secret, i am still a virgin and haven't had my first kiss yet but i am dying in silence to meet a cute handsome guy.
I pray my sister gets a job before i go to college so she can get me all the latest things but i miss mom so much,some said i got my craziness from her while my father is always scolding me,wanting me to be responsible like my sister but i am me and not Elena,so these are part of the reasons i like going home at dawn to avoid them,most times i do some hours job to get myself what i want,i heard someone saying,"Whats wrong with her? She is planning to kill herself?"
I later realized i am at the middle of the road and a lorry was moving at a high speed towards me, in movies i do insult the character like why can't you run instead of looking at the danger but now i know in times like this, i was full of shock like my entire body got paralysed.
I closed my eyes but i noticed i wasn't hearing the sound of the moving lorry but someone's hands were wrapped around me, i opened my eyes and behold,i saw a greek god,you know what i mean by greek god? A handsome figure looking deep into my eyes, he finally let go of my body and he asked,"Seems you got hurt." Damn his voice sent cold chills to my body,who is he? Is he new here?
"Can you hear me? I said you might be hurt."
"Hurt,me, i i" i started saying rubbish till i felt a pain on my ankle,checking it i saw little cut as blood flowed.
"Oh it's not that serious." I said to him but I noticed how focused his eyes were on the wound,he bent close to the wound and to me I felt he wanted to lick the blood.
