Payne's POV; "Have you seen the face of Professor Kennidy? Damn he's busted HAHAHAHA." Aera burst into laughter as she recall the moment our Prof. was being embarassed, so we also laugh with her because we couldnt resist how terrible his face was HAHAHAHA. "And then the moment he felt embarassed, he suddenly said goodbye and run into the lobby HAHAHAHA." Aera continue saying and we burst into laughter again. We are on our way home now and I am together with my classmate, we were about to cross the road but suddenly someone grab my hands so I left here at the gate while my classmates were on the other side of the road. I then glare at the one who interrupt me from crossing "Whats with that glare? It's creeping me out." Owen said acting like he was scared, I punch him a lil' bit and then run across-- "Watch out!!" all I can feel right now is im already lying on the ground. "OMG, what happen?" "She got hit by a car." "Where's the car then?" "Maybe the driver was scared that's why he wasn't zxjfjdlsfh."
Owen's POV; I am now at the Emergency Room, I took Payne here and she was currently under diagnose. I blame myself for what happen to her because if I didnt grab her hands and just let her cross the road, maybe this wouldn't happen. Goddamn it! It's my fault, it really is. "Owen? What happen?" Mrs. Lewis ask woriedly "S-she was h-hit by a c-car." I nervously utter and look down. "omyy poor daughter, who did this to you?!" Ms. Lewis said with the tears in her eyes. The driver ran away, we didnt even get its plate number. Time flies by and still, Payne is not waking up. It's been 5 days since the accident happen, the doctor said it was just normal for a patient who was hit by a car. She's now stable anyway, sooner or later she will wake up. "Hi you naughty Payne, how does it feels to sleep for too long?" I talk to her as she peacefully lying on the bed--- sleeping. "When you wake up, you should tell me where your soul have been when you were still sleeping HAHAHAH." I couldn't help not to turn my laughter into tears, I couldn't just dont care of her. It's still my fault why she's right there lying, she's still my responsibility. I should take care of her until she gets well, even if im just no one for her. Even if im just her ordinary friend, but because of what I did-- I will take the responsibility.
Payne's POV; A ray of lights makes my soul awake of reality, as I open my eyes, a group of people was infront of me. I move my hands a little bit to let them know that I am awake "Mmm..." I groaned "Ohhh she's awake already." "Oh God thankyou." "How are you feeling?" They ask me as soon as they hear me groan. "I'm feelin' a lil' bit good now, but im h-hungry." I said and they quickly give me a food and drinks "Do you remember what happen?" Mom ask me "Hmm all I can recall was the moment I got hit by a car and thats all." I respond and continue eating. "Owen brought you here, and he took care of you since day one." My sister told me "Where is he then?" I ask while eating "We let him go home first to take some rest, he's been up for 24hours just to make sure you are safe." Dad told me. Owen is just a friend of mine, I dont even know why he's the one who took care of me. We're not that close to made him do those stuffs, but maybe he has his reasons. I am now better and can finally move to my home, as we reach the house I miss the atmosphere here. I went to the rooftop of our house, as I walk through there I suddenly saw someone standing at the corner of the rooftop. "What are you doing here?" I slowly move forward, and I saw him looking at his back, to the right and left. "What are you looking at?" I glared at him "A-are ypu talking to m-me?" he utter "Obviously yes! Who are you?!" I yelled "You can see me?" I felt goosebumps as I hear what he says, I felt a sudden cold wind. "W-what?" I stuttered "You see im a.." he stop for a while and turn around to show his body "...im a soul, a ghost to be exact. B-but you dont need to be scared of me, I'm a good ghost." he then smiled, I moved backward. "A-are you s-serious?" I utter "Dont you know how happy I am that someone can finally see me?" I just let him continue talking "I've been here for over 2 weeks, I dont even know why I am at you rooftop. This isn't even my home, but im stuck here. I could'nt get a chance to wander around the City. All I can do is to walk around here, at your rooftop." I suddenly felt sad as what he says "You even used to go up here, but that time you couldn't see me." he faked a smile and look down. "But now I can see you." I said and slowly walk forward.

I was in the middle of playing with my phone when suddenly someone sit beside me, it was Drake. "You're playing with that game again." He said "It's fun and addicted sometimes HAHAHA." I said and continue playing "I hope I can play that with you." he said with low voice. I smiled and tap his shoulder "It's okey, after this game we will talk and talk until the sun went down." I smiled at him. "Thankyou Payne." I heard him whisper "Thankyou for what?" I ask while still didn't took away my eyes on the game. "Thankyou for being there and trusting me, I still couldn't believe that you're still here staying by my side and offering me a food and letting me join you. I thought that you'll be scared of me and not to comeback here at the rooftop, but then you are here enjoying your stay with me." I couldn't help not to smile at what he says, as soon as the game ends I faced him "I will still stay as long as you will keep being good to me, and then you are not that harmful to think." I said at tap his head. We are just at the same age and at the same year. He even remember his birthday and even his name, but he couldn't remember where his adress and his families name. He is admirable and charming, he is also caring. Everytime I told him that I will go out to buy something, he will always warn me not to dress too revealing. He also told me to went up in the rooftop before going out because he wanted to see how I dress and for him to decide whether I will go change my clothes or not. I found it so cute that is why I agreed, I've never been like this before. Who would have thought that someone as handsome like him will be at the our rooftop? Someone who is a boyfriend type guy will be staying and hanging out with me anytime, he is almost perfect to be exact. "Ms. Payne Lewis, would you mind to share something about someone you admired before?" he suddenly ask "Well I have this guy that's keeping me awake all night, hmm he is indeed cute but one day I suddenly found myself losing my feelings for him. And then that time, as I went to school I saw him. And whats worst?" I utter while recalling those moment. "What is it?" he ask "The worst is that, I saw him with someone." I continue "Who's that someone?" he seriously ask "That was the famous girl in our school, well apparently she got everything except..." I paused "What? Jeez, just continue your words." He said that made me laugh a little bit "Except for the intillegence, she got all the beauty but she's a loser in terms of studying." I burst into laughter. "Well you still could get up to her, you got everything. You got the beauty, the styles, the manners, the intellegent and you are the best person I could ever knew in my entire life." I smiled as what he says, I could feel the hotness in my face and I knew I was blushing. I felt a sudden awkwardness in between us, but then I break the silence. "Thankyou for boosting up my confidence Drake." I said then give him a sweet smile, he also smiled back at me and tap my head. He is taller than me, as what he said he is always the MVP of their varsity and the tallest among their team. Well I couldn't deny that he is boastful sometime, but yeah I guess he is just being honest with hid words. "If you think that I am just saying that to boost your confidence, well yeah but I am also saying that because that's what I witness and you know that it was true. I'm just being honest here, you know HAHAHA." He said and smiled, he has the sweetest smile that I have ever seen. Im happy to be with him, it made me feel good.
