"As I said, I must see him today!"
In the Gu Group International building, a beautiful lady was arguing with the secretary.
Jian Yan was a little annoyed. She grabbed the doorknob and twisted it with force.
The office door suddenly opened.
A handsome man appeared in front of her.
Gu Sijue was sitting on a leather swivel chair dressed in an Armani black suit, paired with a white shirt and a black tie. The distraction from the door interrupted his thoughts of reviewing copywrites. He stared at the door with displeased.
"Mr. Gu, I'm sorry, I couldn't stop Miss Jian..." The secretary said with a sad expression.
His dark eyes glanced at Jian Yan's slender figure while she was holding the expensive fur bag he had given to her. Her looks were elegant but her fair and pretty face was filled with anger.
Gu Sijue's dark brows furrowed coldly, "You may leave."
The deep and magnetic voice was cold. The secretary bowed and left obediently.
Jian Yan gained her senses and looked at Gu Sijue's cold eyes. She clenched her fists subconsciously.
She told herself to stay calm!
She raised her eyebrows and glanced at the document beside Gu Sijue's hand. Then, she saw a document titled "Jynriver Manor Acquisition Proposal."
Great. She had found it finally.
Jian Yan calmed herself down. Her slender fingers that were holding the contract tightened and she strode forward.
"Gu Sijue, what's the meaning of this? A villa by the sea, a BMW, Chanel's custom-made dress? Do you think you can get rid of me with these?"
After she had recited the names on the contract angrily, Jian Yan crumpled the paper and threw it in front of Gu Sijue. Her chest was rising and falling constantly.
"These are enough for you to live the rest of your life in peace. If you are not satisfied, we can add more."
Gu Sijue no longer looked at her. He looked down and quickly signed the document.
"Gu Sijue! Who do you think I am? You think I am with you because of your money?"
Jian Yan clenched her fists. Her expression was filled with anger.
"Isn't that the case?"
Gu Sijue sneered and threw the document aside. He crossed his fingers and said, "Jian Yan, didn't you choose to climb into my bed for money and power? So what? You want to say that you love me now?"
His attitude was incomparably arrogant and distant.
He looked into Jian Yan's eyes and asked word by word, "Are you qualified to say that word?"
"Gu Sijue!"
Jian Yan's delicate facial features were covered with anger. She suddenly rushed forward like a madman and swept everything off his table.
Clank! Clank!
All the cups and documents were swept to the ground.
As she swept, she cursed hysterically, "You heartless b*stard!"
"What's so great about money? Do you think you could play with my feelings just because you have money!"
Gu Sijue's indifferent and calm expression changed when he saw that the situation had become out of control.
He got up to grab Jian Yan's slender wrist and asked coldly, "Have you had enough?"
"Enough. Get out of here."
He hated those women who pestered him the most.
She really got on his nerves today!
Jian Yan felt a chill in her heart.
Get out? She would not leave unless her objective were accomplished.
After looking at the mess on the floor, she found something, and she quickly grabbed the targeted document—
"Let go!"
A cold voice suddenly sounded in the office. Gu Sijue was furious and he was staring at her warningly.
That document was very important!
"Hiss—"
What responded to him was the ear-piercing sound of a piece of paper being torn!
Jian Yan didn't dare to hesitate. Before Gu Sijue got up to take back the document, she tore the document.
The thin paper was quickly torn into pieces and flew all over the sky!
Gu Sijue never expected this woman would be so bold as to tear up the Gu's family important documents to enter into construction and acquisition of prime locations in the new district!
"Well, since you don't like me, I don't need to pretend anymore!"
Jian Yan ignored Gu Sijue's sharp gaze that seemed to want to kill her on purpose. She stomped on the messy things beside her feet and could not help but let out a sigh of relief in her heart.
Her task was completed.
