CHAPTER 1
"Krishna hurry up there!"
"Yes Mom, just a moment!"
Today is my first day of work, so I fasted my moves because my mother can't stop call me, she get annoyed at me my mom has a cook to the Delos Santos family for almost twenty years. So Ms. Sherrie the only daughter and the heirs of Mr. and Mrs. Delos Santos she treats me like her own little sister. Since she got married, I haven't talked to her much because she has been busy taking care of her two little ones. She also rarely visit here in the mansion because I am the one she want to go to there house, I am so very thankful to have them because they educated me for free then and now I am finish my studies. I was about to leave the gate when uncle Mando called me the family driver of the Delos Santos family.
"Krishna I will take you there." I turned my head on him, "No thanks uncle Mando, I'll just take the taxi." I told him while I'm still walking through out the gate but he's still blocking my way. "Don't be stubborn young lady, Madame Telda ordered me." I rolled my eyes on him and I'm stop walking. "Okay fine uncle Mando, just get the car and I'll wait here." He smiled at me and the he turned his back on me. I immediately got on board because I also a bit late, uncle Mando and I were talking while on the flight, we didn't even notice that we had passed the restaurant where I've been working, we both laughed and I shook my head. "We are enjoyed talking young lady, we didn't notice that we passed already." Uncle Mando said.
"It's all your fault uncle, because you are so damn talkative." I laughed while saying that words and uncle Mando laugh too. He turned the car around and we stopped in front of the restaurant. "Anyway thank you for taking me here uncle." I smiled. "It's my pleasure young lady." He said and I went out the car. I was about to enter into the door's restaurant when suddenly I heard someone called my name, I turned to the woman who called me then I saw her standing in front of her luxurious car she's wearing a formal red dress above the knee. My smile widened and running towards her and I hug her tight. "Ms. Sherrie, I miss you so much." She hug me back and she kiss me on my cheek. "I miss you too Krishna, and of course the twins are missing you so much." I smiled. "I missed them too." While we were talking, we started walking towards the restaurant then we both greeted at the guard. "Good morning too, Ms. Sherrie and Ms. Krishna." He politely greeted us back.
We entered the private elevator of her restaurant and while we here inside the elevator we were still talking because we miss each other. "I really, really missed those two little ones Ms. Sherrie I haven't seen them for a months, because you didn't let them visit to the mansion." I said. "You visit us first, Krishna." She said sarcastically. "Okay, next time I'll go."
"And when is that next time anyway, hmm?" she said.
"Do you want it now?" we both laughed and went out in the elevator.
WHEN we were inside her office we both face with our laptop.
"Why did you drive alone? Where is your husband?" I asked without looking at her. "He picked up my brother - in-law Clarkson at the airport." I was suddenly froze when I heard that name, it's been a long time since we last met and I never seen him again, i miss that guy anyway. "Hey, whats wrong with you Krishna? Why are you suddenly silent there?" I glanced at her and I saw her smirking at me. "Huh! Um, No-nothing." I gave her a fake smile.
"Did you missed him sweetheart?" She teasing at me, i felt my face redness. "Yeah I missed him so damn." I whispered in my mind.
"You're ultimate love is back." She said and I laughed out loud.
"No he's not my love anymore." I lied but my heart is so beating so fast and seemed happy because we see each other again.
"Admit it Krishna if you don't love him why are you still single? Are you still waiting for him, hmm?" I didn't answer her, I keep silent and continued my work,shes not stop teasing me until I can not telling her the truth. "Whatever." I replied, but we both laughed of what I said.
IT'S WEEKEND we talked the other day that I was going their house to visit them and the two little ones, iwas suddenly think a little bit. "Am I going to visit them or not?" I sigh deeply and went out of my room, then I saw my mom approached me. "Where are you going my daughter?" My mom asked me. "I will go to Sherrie's mansion Mom." I said. "Okay, then take care of your self honey." My mom kissed me on my forehead. "Yes, mom I will." I hugged her tightly before I turned my back on her then I quickly walked outside of our house. FIRST I went to a bakeshop to buy a cup cakes for the twins, I bought their favorite cup cakes with toppings of marshmallows. I was about to leave to the bakeshop, when suddenly I saw a man familiar to me together with a woman, they were going to enter the coffee shop in front of the bakeshop where i entered. I immediately hide when a man looking at my side. "S-sir Clarkson." I whispered in the air. "I hope he didn't notice me." I said it to myself. I quickly left when they finally entered at the coffee shop. "Why am I hiding?" I sarcastically asking myself. Maybe I'm going crazy, I laughed and continued walking. I am here now standing in front of the boutique waiting for the taxi but unfortunately it was not even stop, they probably have a passengers as well. Later on I saw sir Clarkson walking together with that woman, they holding hands while walking at the street. "Wait, it's that Agatha? The leech?" I suddenly felt a million of knives stabbing on my chest. "Why Agatha is with him? Are they in a relationship?" I felt sad and jealous because of what I saw today. I didn't notice that sir Clarkson was already looking at me, i averted my eyes on him and pretending not to see him. I looked at them again but sir Clarkson was still starring at me, I suddenly felt ashamed and all i wanted is to sink into my position.
I FINALLY got on the taxi my legs also hurt a bit when I stood up at how many hours. "Mr. Driver, at Evansville Subdivision please." I ordered to a driver, he just nodded at me then a few minutes later we were in Subdivision. "Stop right there Mr." Then he immediately stop his taxi I quickly went down and I hurried walking towards the huge gate, then the guard immediately opened the gate for me.
"Have a nice day Ms.Krishna." I just smiled at him and went straight into Ms.Sherrie's huge house. "Aunt!" I heard a tiny voice calling at me and I saw the twins running towards me I knelt down to keep my eye on them. "I miss you both kiddos, I kiss them on their cheek.
"We missed you too Aunt." They replied at me and they gave me a sweetest smile,then Kayden opened the box I handed them.
"Wow! Aunt, this is for us?" Sydney's eyes widened in a question.
"Yes, baby." I answered. "Sydney look our favourite cup cakes with marshmallows." Kayden said at her sister.
"You really spoiled those kids huh." Ms. Sherrie said while her right hand holding the cellphone. "I rarely visit here so just let it go." And the couple eating the cup cakes I brought and then they stared each other. "Hey that's enough to stared aren't you ashamed of me?" I am pointing now myself and then we've laughed.
"Why don't you visit here often? So that you don't misses the kids so much." Kianne told me while he eating the cup cakes then Sherrie sitting beside him and looking at me sarcastically.
"Have you meet already?" Sherrie asked.
"Huh!? To whom?" I pretend.
"To Clark." she said.
"Not yet." I lied but the truth is we've met earlier but we've just pretending that we didn't notice to each other.
"You know what Krishna, what if he courted you?"
"And who is that anyway?!" I frown looking at her.
"He is." She pointed behind my back and I was shocked that I saw him my heart is beating so fast he look at me straight into my eyes and I can't avoid he's stare and now we are stare each other.
"What is it Sherrie." He's voice is like a music from my ears.
"Nothing brother, Krishna and I are just talking nonsense." She lied to his brother, and then immediately sir Clarkson recognise me.
"It's you! I saw you i a bake shop earlier I really wanted to approach you, but I was just mimicking." He said while he never stop staring at me. "In almost five years, he just still remember me?" I whispered in my mind then I look at him.
