Ipak was one of the most arrogant female student in the class. She was intelligent, clever and most beautiful in the class yet no one dared to approach her due to her temperament. She was one of the gifted and more knowledgeable than the teacher. Even teacher would respect her in the knowledge but god doesn’t gift everything to the same person. She lacked in socializing with people not that is not due health issues or anything. She just felt uncomfortable taking with opposite sex and never in her wildest dreams she thought she would date anyone in her life. After completing high school she was offered scholarship to study abroad to become a doctor. She was excited and nervous at the same time. Just when she came out of he office after completing the formalities to go abroad, she saw a handsome tall man with dazzling eyes looking in her direction. She was dazed and opened her mouth in awe. “Are you for selected for scholarship ?” He asked.
“Oh yeah” she replied. That came out naturally she thought
“Which field ?”
“Medicine “ she replied
“I am taking veterinary medicine “ he seems to be outspoken she thought. Their conversation came to a pause. They exchanged an awkward smile and parted their ways. Three days later, ipak was causally strolling park when she suddenly slipped and fell down. She was received mid way in the air by two strong arms that saved her from sustaining a massive injury. She tightly closed her eyes and prayed God for sending someone to save her. After praying she slowly opened her eyes and her jaw dropped when she saw that same person.
She suddenly woke up from reverie, straightened her clothes and gave an awkward embarrassed smile. When she was about to walk away after a bow as a sign of thank you, she heard a voice “ is this how you thank a person who just saved you from a major disaster?”
When she looked backed the man was smiling teasingly.
She thought how can she be so careless and fell onto somebody’s hand.
She said “ thank you for saving me” and then just walk away.
She couldn’t take the image of that man out of her mind which was not like her usual self. Usually she doesn’t pay any heed to such actions but she was amazed how her mind acted strangely.
She thought’ what’s wrong with me? Am i gonna die soon? Why am I being like this?’ . Anyway she comforted herself that she will get over soon and she wanted to remember it like a dream and never happened in her real life.
