Late at night when I felt something cold touching my skin. This asshole is trying to get on my pants huh?
“What do you think you’re doing?” I groaned trying to push him away.
“What do you think, I’m doing Adrienne?” I heard his commanding and venomous voice, but that doesn’t stop me from pushing him away.
“Get off me Devin,” I glared at him trying to push him away again, but he caught my hand and pinned it off the bed.
“We’re married Adrienne and this is a part of being married.” He hissed with his gritted teeth.
“Sex is not a part of this marriage Devin, if that’s what you want I can’t give you that.” This marriage is completely nonsense.
“Oh cut the bullshit Adrienne! I don’t care if it was just a fixed marriage, you’re still my wife so you must give me what I need.” He sucked on my lips and pushes his tongue inside my mouth, kissing me harshly. This is not what I dreamed as a married woman. I immediately extended my legs to kick him.
“What the hell?!” I don't care if I get him mad, sex is not just what I want, I want him to love me first. We've been married for a year, and this always come up twice? Or even thrice a month and he got always rejected. I am still not fucking ready for this. A thing like this is a very sacred for me, for me 'love making' should be done when you both love each other and not just for lust.
“Fuck, You’re too boring Adrienne!” he groaned as he gets off our bed, furious about what I did, yet I refused to gave him words. I let him walked out of our room leaving me confused and broken inside. I don't need to care about it, if that's what he only wants from me I will never give it to him cause never in my entire life I let a man touch me or disrespect, me either I let someone to even kiss me, cause I want it to give to my husband but I didn't see it coming that I will marry someone, I love but doesn't know what love is.
I was awakened when the light touches my face, it's 7 in the morning. Unconsciously, I walked inside the bathroom to wash my body and wore my corporate attire. I prepared us a breakfast, but no one walked inside the kitchen to even taste what I made that's when I found out that my husband left early like the usual. I was left with no choice but to eat alone and keep the foods I prepared. If this is what marriage feels like, I don't want to get married anymore, this feels bullshit.
“Good morning mam,” I was greeted by my employees but no one received my words. I am not used of greeting back, I want them to fear me.
I stopped mid way when I saw someone, rushing like he was on race. He just stopped when he finally notices that I was there. His face paled when he found out that I was really there, afraid of what he'll go to hear from me.
“M-mam,” I can feel his fear, good! He must be aware of what I will tell him.
“What’s your name again?”
“ Marcus from Administrative department Mam.”
“How long have you been working here?”
“Less than a month Mam.”
“Well then, I fear you won't have any months to work for.”
“M-mam?”
“Please fix your things and leave my company immediately before 10.” Shock filled his face, I can see how his expression changed. It looks like he's going to cry because of what he heard. They must be aware of what I can do, when I found them coming late for work. This is me, and I don't accept people's neglection over time.
“Mam I'm sorry, I didn't really mean to be late, please give me another chance. I badly need this job, please mam.” I looked at him amused.
“If you really need this work, you must value your time. You must be aware of rules, you must be aware that this company's number one rule was to come on time or earlier right?”
“B-but, something came up and I----” I signed him to stop reasoning, I hate when people reason out, nothing in this world that comes unintentionally.
I don't want to waste my time with people who don't even value it. Coming late at work doesn't always mean that he don't respect his time but also it means that he don't respect me either. This is a sick fetish of people, no matter what reasons, punctuality is one of the most important thing when it comes on working.
When I entered my office, someone comes along and handed me an envelope that I immediately took.
“Are you sure?”
“Yes Mam, I saw them with my both eyes. I took them pictures too.” He's right, I saw 10 pieces of pictures. My mind went blank as my heart started to hammer inside my chest. Pain, and anger crept as I saw my husband with his woman.
“This bastard!” Furious, I crumpled all the pictures as I screamed in anger. How could he do this to me?! Sex?! Just because of that?! Fucking bullshit!
“M-mam?”
“Leave! I will transfer the money on your account just please leave.”
I was left alone, and right after my door closed tears drip down on my face.
