The moon shone in the sky while the stars encircled it sullenly witnessing the despair and pain of the pair in the lane.
The girl was crying in fear with blood oozing out of her body whilst the two men were ripping her virtue off her body.
Misery was all, that could be heard from her quaking voice and wrecked figure. But the infinite cries of the lass only seemed to amuse and tempt the men in front of her who was gaping at her petite figure with their voracious lamps.
Her torn clothes were barely covering half of her body, but all she cared about was the bleeding boy on the ground.
Minutes passed and a little hope ignited in the girl as she viewed the men halting. But the slight hope again turned into despair when she saw them moving towards her.
“No”, A loud shriek escaped her lips as she sat on the bed with her orbs stretched wide.
The pupils of her eyes moved rapidly and she quickly curled herself in the corner of her bed while breathing heavily.
Enormous beads of sweat got formed on her appearance that caused her long brown hair to get stuck on her flawless face.
Breathing heavily, Briana rested her head on the head side when her whole body trembled badly. She tried to soothe herself but a drop of tear settled itself on the corner of her right eye when she closed her orbs.
“Mo... Mom... Dad, why is this happening to me?... W... Why can’t it let me live peacefully?... Why is it happening to me?... Why?”
Briana screamed to herself while emitting her tears and tried to get herself out of her worst nightmare already knowing that there’s no one except for him who can calm her mind.
She scrunched her eyes tightly enduring the pain in her head and wiped her tears off ere shutting her eyes and remembering the face of that person whom she wished to see the most, yet... hated the most.
Briana opened her orbs achieving to calm herself and wiped her tears from the back of her palm afore stepping on the ground. Besides not wanting to let her thoughts linger anymore made her way towards the restroom.
BRIANA’S POV
Pacing out of my room with small yet steady strides, I walked into the living room lost in my world and dropped myself on the couch oblivious about everything happening around me.
“How long? For how long do I have to bear so much?... For how do I have to live with those scary nightmares?... For how long do I have to remember and cry for... for him? How long?”
My heart wailed to me another time as my mind drove me to that frightening nightmare again. The tears in my eyes that just dried up, commenced filling my orbs once again as I closed my eyes.
“Brea...”, Taking my head out of my hands and unclosing my lamps, I peeked at the two figures sitting beside me and a smile mechanically climbed on my lips when I saw their concerned faces.
“Are you crying baby”, Jennie held my shoulders and put with her enlarged eyes noticing the dry patches on my cheek.
“You’re crying, Brea?... Who the hell made you cry this early? Tell me, I’ll break that person’s ugly face... Just tell me, right now”
The other girl beside me shouted while fuming and rolling up her sleeves ready to bash anyone who gets in her way right now. My grin widened as I saw her and shook my head in denial ere mopping my tears away.
‘Maybe he’s the one to make me calm but he surely is not the one who can take my pain away. Cuz the ones who can do that are sitting right here with me being the only cause of my smile’
I held in my mind watching the two who were quarrelling with each other and pulled them into a hug the next instant. “I love you two so much... I love you guys more than anything”
I declared embracing the both of them while the two just stood still in their positions in bewilderment.
“For others, you may be just a friend to me... But for me... You guys are everything, My family, My sisters and sometimes even more than that. Thank you for always staying by my side. I love you.”
I announced my heart out while shedding my tears of happiness and reasoned the both of them to hug me back ere snapping.
“Are you planning to make us cry too, stupid girl?”, Jen said whilst squeezing her eyes, to stop her brimming tears from spilling off while Rose gazed at me with her adoring orbs.
“We Love you too our baby... Your sisters love you unconditionally, got it... Now are you intending to go to the college or do you have any other plans for today?”, She specified forcing my eyes to go wide.
“Fuck It’s 10... we are late for college... Jennie and Rosie, get in the car”, I yelled after realizing the time and hastened towards your car abandoning the two girls who were laughing at me.
XXX UNIVERSITY
Arriving at your terminus, the three of you treaded out of the car and strode unswervingly towards your assigned classes.
While the other two girls walked unbothered in the front, you kept your head low all along as everyone’s gaze was fixed on you which was uncomfortable for you.
This wasn’t new for any of you, as since the very start, the three of you were quite popular in the college. Whether it was studies or sports, you three aced in every single field that always charmed your tutors.
Besides being a topper, your elegance was another reason why you were the Centre of attraction.
Every single boy was lured by the charms of the three girls who never seemed to be interested in them for their reasons.
Jennie never let any lad roam around her as she was committed by none other than your brother, Bruce. In contrast to this, Roseanne never had any kind of interest in the so-called e-boys.
But for you, it was not the same. Since the time you enrolled in this college, any guy who wanted to approach you never dared to do so. And whoever tried was never seen in the college again.
It surely was frightening to you at first but not letting your thoughts bother you anymore, you just let it pass.
XXX HOSPITAL
Entering the hospital, you three greeted everyone with a slight smile on your face and made your way towards the staff room. While the others did the same and advanced to continue their conversations.
It won’t be wrong to say that the hospital has been giving you some weird vibes nowadays. The staff of the hospital were being uncanny for a few days, discussing and fangirling over the new trusty.
The trusty who’s soon going to take over the hospital. Neither anyone has seen him nor anyone knows his name but everyone is already going crazy over the new trusty...Mr. Brown.
Whirling the cup of coffee in your hand while you were seated in the café of the hospital, you remained to last in your thoughts, totally ignoring the two lasses who were observing you since the morning.
“Talk to her”, Jennie whisper–yelled at the girl sitting beside her and poked her in the stomach while not daring to move her orbs from the girl who was sitting with a pale face.
Roseanne sighed apprehending Jennie and cleared her throat to gain the heed of the third female sitting with them.
“Wh... What happened guys? Why are you both looking at me like that?”, Briana queried noticing Jennie and Rose ere taking a sip of her now-cold coffee. “Brea... Is everything alright, baby? You seem a little off today”
Roseanne stated taking hold of your fisted palm that was resting on the table and squeezing it a little attaining to catch you off guard.
“Wha... What are you talking about Rosie? I... I am totally fine. See”, You answered, trying to assure the two girls who weren’t convinced by your fake assurances at all. “Stop lying, Briana... Tell us what’s wrong”
Jennie insisted and provoked you to gulp down the lump in your throat afore again attempting to dodge their questions, only to fail the next instant. “Nothi...”, “You again got that nightmare?... Didn’t you?”
Roseanne uttered startling you and looking at you with her worried eyes, composing you to swill once again and hang your head low.
“You stupid girl. Why didn’t you tell us before? How dare you hide it from us again, huh? Do you even know how worried are we since the fucking morning? You... you got some conscience or not?”
Jennie screeched in an uptight tone forcing Rose to sigh and you to look towards her with your apologizing eyes brimming with tears. “I wasn’t scolding you, idiot. Why are you cryi..”
“I... I can’t handle it anymore Jen. I can’t. It... It hurts me so much... I have been trying to bear all of this on my own guys... But I just can’t... I’m too weak for that Jen... I’m weak”
Briana cried suspending her head in the air that lead the other girls to rush towards her and embrace her tightly.
“You don’t have to endure it alone Brea... We are with you... Your Brother, Your family, The two of us... We all are with you baby. You aren’t alone... We were with you and will stay with you till the end. Got it?”
Rose pronounced cupping your cheeks with her palm making you nod your head and cage her back. But the moment the next words left the lips of the other lass, your figure became stiffed in its place.
“Why don’t you forget it, Brea? It has been two years’... Why are you letting it make you suffer...? He didn’t care about it, then why are you letting it ruin your present baby?... Why don’t you just move on?”
Jennie spoke to you in a concerned voice and forced the tears that were brimming your eyes to finally spill on your face.
“I can’t Jennie... I’m trying to but I can’t ... He... he doesn’t let me forget about him. He keeps possessing my mind. I’m trying my best to forget him Jen, but... but I... I just can’t. I can’t”
You uttered with infinite tears blurring your view and peeked at Jennie whose orbs too rose to shine with tears seeing your pain.
“Don’t cry for that bastard who doesn’t deserve even a single drop of your tears, Briana... Don’t let him affect you. Just forget him, baby”, Roseanne said with her gritted teeth making Jennie nod in accord and speak.
“Rosie is right Brea, He isn’t deserving, he is a cheat, a selfish bastard... stop crying over that rascal or I’ll kill you”, Jennie threatened frowning at you accomplishing to make you laugh on her fake mad face.
“That’s my girl”, Roseanne affirmed embracing you tightly and pecking your forehead letting you rest in her arms.
MEANWHILE
The room radiated a dark vibe as the black curtains barred the daylight to enter and brighten the darkroom. Just then, the door made a creaking sound and a figure strode inside the room with his steady steps.
His feet halted at the end of his room as his blank eyes caught the sight of the particular wall. His black bangs covered half of his eyes while his lips kept the slight smirk on.
The eyes that were void of any emotion again shone with a certain feeling and his lips curved into a creepy grin just as his inked hand caressed the pictures of the girl on the wall slowly.
“I miss you so much, Princess. I miss you a lot. You don’t even know how long I’ve waited for this moment. How long... I’ve waited to touch you, to have you in my embrace and never letting you go…
And now it’s the time for my awaiting to end Princess... It’s my time to achieve my desires... It’s my time to fulfil every want of mine. My time to do everything that I’ve been desiring for so long.
You just have to wait for me, Princess. I’m coming for you. I’m coming for concluding our sufferings baby. I’m coming to never let anyone snatch you away from me. I’m coming, Briana... Just wait for me”.
NEXT MORNING
The alarm rang in your ears loudly that prompted you to rub your eyes in discontent and scrutinize the time before arousing from your place and rushing towards the bathroom.
Not considering waking the other two girls who were still in their dreamland cuddling each other’s legs, you rushed out of your house and flew towards the car to reach the airport.
Not knowing about the thunderstorm that was soon going to destroy your small happy world!!!
