The synopsis of the story caught my attention but I was afraid that I would be disappointed; I was wasn’t. Laura was a pretty strong young woman beginning with chapter one when she left an abusive boyfriend and some really greedy parents. She just didn’t have a plan of escape. She did have a wonderful and supportive best friend. The ending was good just kinda unbelievable. I found some of the chapters super expensive considering their length and it lacked sufficient editing at times.
