"Yea, crystal." I muttered as the words before me dimmed into the darkness. The clothes on my back, the blood on my hands, and the markings on my body vanished into the air. The floor beneath me also disappeared and what was left was the darkness.

No, fucking not. I didn't have a choice for this. I wasn't even told about this. And even if I was told, I would have never been prepared for this.
Not in a country like mine.
How the hell does someone like me save the world? How?
These angered thoughts rushed through my mind and the pained tears flittered up to the air. I was falling into the dark abyss as the lights of world around me dimmed into nothingness. The lights of what had been my reality, but now just some nightmare to suffer through again.
My hands that were inch by inch becoming one with the darkness reached out to the fragment of light and a whisper so quiet emitted.
"If there is a God out there, please let me forget everything."
Her face appeared in my mind, but I felt more uneasy the times we met again.

Even her...Let me forget she existed. Her face, her smile, her cold fingers. Let me forget everything about her.
Let me finally die.
That slim chance of hope died away with the light as the darkness enveloped me into its embrace. And I knew it was time for the reboot. Where I remembered everything to 'save the world'.
And the feeling of apathy and blankness filled me up again. When you've seen too much and done too much, having empathy would only make you go insane.

I stared at the words, not with uncertainty like many times before, but with blankness. Reboot. As if I was but a machine to repeat actions whenever a mistake had occurred.
"Activate reboot." The words slipped through my mouth in bitter resentment.

"Yes." I would have hissed it out before with so much hatred and spite, but now it came out blunt and sharp.

I clicked my tongue at its answer to my question. What did I hope for anyways? It wasn't like this hadn't been done before. Still...
Another skill, huh? Hopefully, another good skill to use. With a breath of 'yes', the darkness flashed away as a scene before me began to play out.

My brow raised seeing and hearing the words. "Name."
Oblivion prevents hero character to see levels, character names, and skills. Oblivion erases all memories of hero character regarding MISSION APOCALYPSE.
My eyes widened. The fear, the adrenaline, the terrifying revelation that something had gone completely wrong overwhelmed me. Just like the first time I got here.
No. no. no. no. no!!! I've gone through so much for the information! I can't do this without the-
"Wait, stop! This is-!!!" The words dulled out and the familiar feeling of being pulled out of the darkness spiked from within. Millions of hands grabbed me and dragged me deep into the darkness before a familiar scene of a road appeared before me.
Memories were taken away one by one.
My family. My friends.
The Apocalypse.

I passed through the calendar of my phone and saw the date. I didn't mean to really check- I don't check the date that much, after all. I could not care less about the date so it felt bizarre when I did so, only the time. It was already late: 8 in the evening.
