Introducción

Zylith has been living the life, her entire life..... until she falls into the pits of Hell, or what can be considered so. Then, she meets.... him..... and life isn't that bad anymore. So far.... "Why is this part even important?" I think to myself, putting down my pen and leaning back in my chair. It isn't very natural for me to write in class, but I need to catch up if I want to gain at least a little popularity.

Chapter 1

Twenty- two years old, a woman stood at the door of her rich father's bedroom.

He's probably in there fucking his lover right now. Ew.

That bitch.

I'll just come back later.

My body swiftly makes its way downstairs, where awaits our family butler, Allister.

"Mornin', Al." I greet.

"Good Morning, Mistress Zylith. Do you have any special requests for breakfast this morning?"

"Yes, I do." I say, making it to the bottom of the large staircase, and walking beside Allister.

"This morning, for breakfast," I continue, as Allister gently takes me by the arm.

"I would like.... Pancakes."

Allister stops abruptly, yanking my arm back and I almost stumble.

"Allister!"

"Forgive me, Mistress, but I am at the peak of the concern in this very moment."

I almost laugh at that wording.

"What, why?"

"You haven't eaten pancakes since you were six. You hate pancakes."

"I don't.... hate pancakes. I just don't eat them a lot."

Allister grunts.

"Well, if it is pancakes that you want, then you can have as much as you desire. You make the rules around here, after all."

Allister loosens his grip with our arms, and stands in front of me quietly.

"Or, is that you would like pancakes to celebrate your mother's disappearance?"

I frown, and wave Allister away from my face.

"No." I say.

"Alright, Mistress. You don't have to admit it. But, I am here to talk if you wish to, at any time."

Allister now stands beside me, and I turn my head to him.

He gently caresses my cheek, and smiles warmly.

"Your father and his wretched bitch should be appearing soon."

I smirk.

"Thank you, Al. I'll be going to get ready now."

"Of course, Mistress."

I turn from Allister, shifting my hair back and strutting perfectly back up the large staircase.

My "Father and his Wretched Bitch" pass me in the corridor, and I ignore them as usual.

"Goodmorning, Zylith." My father greets, and I keep walking.

"Zylith!" My father yells, and I stop, sighing, and turning slowly for the old man to see my face.

"What?" I ask.

My father shrugs, gesturing to me.

"Can you not greet your father in the mornings?"

"I can't, at least while you're with her."

I point at Vanessa, my father's lover.

She scowls, and frowns at me.

"Good morning." She spits at me expectantly.

I throw up my middle fingers at her, and turn to leave them in the corridor.

I can hear Vanessa call be a bitch softly, and my father sighs.

I enter my room, closing and locking the door behind me. I sigh, leaning against the door.

It's been exactly three years since my mother disappeared, and my father found "Vanessa the Rebound" a year later.

I stand straight and walk over to my large vanity, grabbing a pen and lifting it to the calendar.

April 11, 2021.

I mark the square of the date, and before I could put down my pen, I read the small letters I scribbled there just a week ago.

They were scribbled three days from now.

Happy Birthday to Me, Zylith Anne Karma Enhannce.

My birthday, huh? How ironic. Right on Allister's anniversary to his wife. I'll keep in mind to buy him something.

I smile, walking over to my closet, to begin picking out clothes.

Today is a black skirt, with a dark green, long- sleeved plaid shirt.

Undergarments are a black, silk lingerie set with nylons.

Shoes will be plain, black pumps.

Once I finish changing clothes, I walk back to my vanity and drape a rarely used jacket over my shoulders.

I then start to brush my hair, wincing at some knots that tangle in my hair.

A maid knocks on my door.

"Mistress Zylith? Breakfast is ready."

"I'll be down soon. Thank you."

"Of course."

The maid's footsteps shuffle away.

I look at myself in the mirror. I feel pretty.

Prettier than usual, if that makes sense.

I silently stand, place the jacket down, and leave for breakfast.

The dining room looks smaller than normal, or is it because of Vanessa's insisted readjustments?

This place looks utterly disgusting, like homeless people came in and tried to renovate it themselves.

Speaking of who did what, Vanessa walks past me and smacks the back of my head.

I hit her back, and she raises her fist at me. I don't flinch nor faulter, and she makes her signature scowl.

"Well, don't just sit there!" She barks at me, like a little old woman yelling at a poor employee for doing their job.

"Do you like what I've done with the place?" She asks, and I look at her.

My left hand meets her corresponding shoulder, and I squeeze it nicely. All the while a sinister grin was on my face.

"It looks like you did it, after all." I say, smiling now.

She frowns, and smacks my hand away from her.

"Oh, and one more thing." I say, before she turns away completely.

"What?" She says rather than asks.

"The next time you touch me without my permission, I'll tell Allister to cut off your hands, and I'll tear your skin up with nail clippers. You're a bitch, a whore, and you don't deserve to be with my father."

She gasps, and furrows her brows angrily.

"Well, guess what? I'm in an intimate relationship with YOUR father, and we have sex. We share all of our dirty little secrets together, and who cares if I'm using him for his money? Even if you tell him to leave me, he won't."

Well, that very last part was true, and I hate it too.

Vanessa switches her hips away from me as she walks, snatching a full glass of wine from Allister, who was waiting for us to take a seat for ourselves.

He heard the entire conversation, and we make eye contact.

Once again, he smiles warmly.

My father walks in, and Vaness smiles cheerfully.

"Sweetheart! Honey! Baby! Significant other! How are you? I've missed you so desperately since a few minutes ago!"

I cringe, and take my usual seat at the end of the table nearest to the door.

My father sits all the way on the other side, across from me, with Vanessa to the right.

The two lovers began a casual conversation while I silently eat my breakfast.

Pancakes.

I hate pancakes.

Still, I chew them up and swallow them bravely, because today is the anniversary of my mother's unexplainable disappearance, and I don't want to hear Allister's nagging of why I wasted good food.

The food was good, too. Allister makes the food himself. He's the best cook.

I decide that it's time I bring up my recent decision.

I stand, placing down my utensils, and clear my throat.

Vanessa and my father look up in attention.

"I'm moving out." I say.

"What?" My father asks. "No."

I nod. "Yes. I'm a grown woman, I can do whatever I so please and desire. That means, moving out."

"No."

"It is not your decision to make, father."

"Yes the hell it is, and you aren't leaving anywhere!"

My father stands from his chair, knocking it over and Vanessa is startled.

"You can't make this decision, Jack!" I scream, and leave the table.

Jack, my father, watches me leave.

He sighs, like we two usually do.

I leave the house, closing the front door after me.

I'll take a walk to let my father calm down. This isn't his decision, but still, I want him to accept my choices for once.

So, I start a slow hike up to my mother's memorial on the hill, about two kilometers South from here.

Just in case she's dead, just in case she's gone, I made the memorial myself to talk to her occasionally, and tell her how much I love her.

A few hours passed before I came down the hill from my mother's memorial.

It looked late, and a mysterious aura crept about the forest surrounding the hill and my home.

Quite the mysterious aura.

A minute later, I decided to stop and lean against a tree.

My body was exhausted, and I wasn't breathing properly.

Once I caught my breath, I stood, but then the ground began shaking.

Harshly, violently.

Was it an earthquake? I was slightly panicking, and then a large crack split the ground in front of me.

I almost fainted, but wait....

It blocked my way home, and now it's spreading!

Smaller cracks began opening as well, and one came chasing after me.

I turned tail and ran as fast as my legs could carry me, which wasn't fast enough, apparently.

I was caught in the hole, and I gripped the ground that I once stood upon.

"Fuck!" I screamed into the air. "Someone, help!"

But, there was no one to assist the Young Mistress Zylith.

I lost my grip, and fell through the deep hole in the Earth.

The fall was so long, I eventually stopped screaming, and found it peaceful.
