‘’ A long time ago, The Creator created the Earth, the Sky and all the living and nonliving things in this world. It was a joyous day for The Creator so he created another living thing that will govern all his creations. The Creator called it a Man, a human being rather. The man will be the one responsible in protecting all his creations. After being satisfied with his creations The Creator vanished into nothingness and left the man all by himself. “ Tamara’s grandpa started telling her another random story in bed.
‘’ Popsy did he also created unicorns? Tell him to create for me please, I want the violet one with rainbow horns and pink tails. ‘’ innocent tamy said to his grandpa while hugging her favorite unicorn stuffed toy. Her grandpa smiled because of her question.
‘’ Sweetie, The creator will grant your wish if you would be a good kid. ‘’ her granpa said.
‘’ Am I a bad kid popsy?’’ she asked.
‘’ No you’re not, why? ‘’ her grandpa replied
‘’ Why did he let mommy and daddy die?’’ tamy innocently asked her grandpa.
‘’ No baby it was popsy’s fault that he let it happen ‘’ his grandpa said while pulling tamy in a tight hug.
Tamara’s parents died months ago because of car accident, that is why she was left in his grandfather’s care but little did she know her grandpa knows everything that has happened in her parents, it is not just an accident.
‘’ Popsy I think the man was lonely ‘’ Tamy said pulling his grandpa out of his own thoughts.
‘’ Why is that sweetie?’’
‘’ You said he was lonely and he doesn’t have any unicorn companion like me. Can I give this unicorn to him? ‘’ she asked.
‘’ No sweetie maybe he was dead ‘’ or not he thought.
‘’ That’s so sad popsy he died alone and he doesn’t have any unicorns in him’’ tamy said.
‘’ Sweetie that’s so sweet of you maybe if you will meet him someday he may be grateful of your thoughtfulness ‘’ his grandpa said while smiling.
‘’ Really? that would be nice popsy’’ she beamed.
‘’ Of course baby’’ his grandpa said though he thought that it will never happen in this lifetime.
‘’ Popsy promise me you will never leave me ‘’ Tamy begged.
‘’ I promise ‘’ his heart wrenched because of the sadness laced in her voice.
‘’ Unicorn promise?’’ showing her stuffed toy unicorn.
‘’ Unicorn promise ‘’ he smiled, ‘’ now baby its time for bed ‘’
‘’ Okay popsy ‘’ Tamy said then lay down in her bed hugging her unicorn in her sleep.
‘’ Promise sweetie I will not let anything happen to you’’ he kissed her forehead then he closed the lights and turn on the disc of lullaby before he closed the door of Tamy’s room and left.
Outside he can feel a disturbing presence that might ruined Tamy’s sleep. He locked all the windows and all the entrances before going outside.
Full moon is illuminating the surroundings making the unknown visible.
A lone shadow is standing a few yards away, under the moonlight his presence reeks of evilness but Tamy’s grandpa is not afraid of him.
This is the one responsible for the death of Tamy’s parents and he will not let it happen again at any cost.
He stepped forward gripping his sword then launched forward to attack his opponent.
Under the full moon an intense fight is happening while little Tamara is oblivious in her deep sleep.
