It was a cold morning as the wind blew mightily making the tress bow down in defeat to the strong wind. Thunder flushed across the sky and it continued to rain heavily but LiLy Nike didn't bother.
She stood in front of her mother's grave with teary eyes. Her mind went blank and she looked lost, there were dried traces of tears on her cheeks and she stood there unmoving.
She didn't care about the strong wind blowing but her attention was all on the pain she could feel in her heart, she lost my mother, the only person who she had in the world and she was murdered right before her eyes in cold blood and she couldn't do anything.
She could hear herself screaming, crying and pleading as she saw her mother's painful face before she dropped down dead. The memories of that cold night was still vivid in her mind and everything replayed at the back of her mind. She was helpless and she hated herself to the core for not being able to protect her mother and she stood there still with her unmoving gaze fixed on the grave.
Her eyes fluttered open and she saw herself in a vast room, her eyes quickly scanned around the room as she didn't know where she was. She helped herself to sit on the bed as she tried to remember how she got here. The last thing she remembered was standing at her mother's grave before she fell unconscious.
Thinking about her mother now brought back the immense pain In her heart and she burst into uncontrollable tears as she tugged on her long dark hair strongly. She screamed and felt lost. She didn't want to live anymore as she felt the pain taking over her and the only solution that came to her mind to help her forget the pain was suicide and with that thought a dry painful smile appeared on her lips.
She doesn't have anything to live for anyway. She has lost her mother, her properties, her wealth, everything. She couldn't believe how she was reduced to nothing in a single night and she knew that night will forever be the most painful night in her life and it's memories is something she can never forget no matter how hard she tries as they were strongly engraved in her mind.
Her eyes darted in the room to find something to end her miserable life cos at this point she just wanted to die and forget everything.
She heard the door of her room creaked open and her eyes threw daggers at the person who entered.
"Tch, what's with that look, dear wife," a tall lanky man with red eyes asked as he stepped into the room.
