The alarm lights up the bedroom and I groan. Today is my first day at a new high school, and it's going to be interesting.
I get up and look at myself in the mirror. Long blonde hair, that reaches the top of my butt, flawless pale skin with a speckling of freckles kissing my nose, full pouty lips, and the biggest bluest eyes you could ever imagine. I am not beautiful by any means, but I certainly am not ugly.
I sigh as I pull on my cheer uniform. First day at a new school, and I am the new girl and I walked onto the squad. None of the girls like me, and I am nervous for today.
My mom drops me and my siblings off out front of the school. All the guys stop and stare. One of the girls from the squad walk over and says hi. Teagan is such a bad ass and everyone is scared of her. She walks me to my first class, history.
History was uneventful, except for the guy sitting behind me, pulling my hair. When I ask him to stop, he gives me a cheeky grin. He is definitely cute, whoever he is. Those brown eyes look like melted chocolate swirling around. He has a head of messy hair that is black as coal, and the 5 o clock shadow on his sharp jawline... Yum. He must be on the football team, as he is wearing a jersey. I hope he doesn't have many other classes with me. The last thing I need is the hunk of a guy drawing more attention to me.
At lunch, I am just trying to find a spot away from everyone. I succeed... Until the hunk from history spots me. He flashes one of those adorable crooked grins, and I can feel my core begin to melt. Seriously. This guy is pure trouble. He walks up to me, sticks his hand out and declares "Hi... I am Cody. What's your name gorgeous?"
"Cashley" I respond. Cody looks me up and down and says "You and I are gonna be friends." I can't help but to smile at him. Every single girl noticed him moving his teay to sit with me.
After lunch, I have science. I love science class. The teacher isn't very bright though. Who on earth has the new girl pass papers back?! I am so flustered and embarrassed. When I reach the back of the class, the guys sitting at the back are jostling around and elbowing each other. With an annoyed look I ask "which of you is Declan?" I discover they are messing with me.
