In the Vahter Mansion.
The feast downstairs was luxurious and magnificent. High winds blew on the rooftop, and several high-end helicopters hovered in the air.
In a black windbreaker, Marina Garcia jumped sharply to the ground and ordered Cedric behind her,
"Continue to keep track of those goods. Don't let down your guard."
"Yes, boss!" replied Cedric.
Marina took off her windbreaker, tossed it to Cedric, and changed into an old blue-green dress.
"I'm going down first. Call me if you need anything," Marina said indifferently. Then she wiped the dust on the wall casually and smeared it on her face.
"Boss," Cedric called out to Marina.
Marina stopped. Cedric immediately walked over and placed the tablet in front of Marina.
"It was found when we were spying on Eileen Garcia and Jolin Garcia," said Cedric.
On the screen, two women were whispering at the corner of the second floor.
"Mom, he has been drugged and has fainted. I'm going in now. Bring someone to check the room at eight o'clock tomorrow morning!" said Jolin.
"Alright, you must succeed tonight. Otherwise, Lionel will be engaged to that silly girl next week!" replied Eileen.
"Don't worry!" Jolin said with confidence.
Then Jolin bent down and slipped into a guest room.
The video stopped, and Marina got livid.
"You want to get my fiancé? Hmph, if it weren't for the fact that I have to stay with the Garcia family to investigate that matter, I would kill you both!" Marina thought to herself.
Cedric clicked on the screen and changed the view, "Mr. Lionel fainted indeed, and he's in the eastern room now. Jolin is next door to him, and I've arranged a servitor for her."
Marina smiled, "Good job."
Cedric was her most capable assistant, and he knew what she was thinking.
"When you go back, go to the finance department and take 2% of the profit. That's my bonus for you," said Marina.
"Thank you, boss!" Cedric said gratefully.
"I'm leaving." Marina left the rooftop, walked into the darkness, and entered the eastern bedroom.
She caught sight of Lionel through the moonlight in the pitch-black night.
"I'm sorry," Marina murmured and began to take off her clothes.
In the end, she took off Lionel's clothes and sprinkled the blood she had prepared on the bedsheet.
"The show will begin tomorrow!" she thought to herself.
Early the next morning, Marina was sleeping when someone suddenly choked her.
"D*mn it, how dare you drug me!" the man said with a hoarse voice full of suppressed ruthlessness.
Marina woke up suddenly, and the strong sense of suffocation made her out of breath.
She patted the back of his hand in panic.
"It... it hurts! Let go of me, boohoo..."
Marina burst into tears immediately, and her face turned pale with fear.
Lionel stared at her with serious eyes.
"It's you," he said in a low voice.
The face in front of him was the same as that in the photo.
She was the silly fiancée with who Lionel wanted to break off the engagement!
"Cough, cough, cough!" Marina coughed violently because of the blockage in her throat.
Lionel frowned and shook her off.
"How dare you drug me?" he said with a sharp voice that was still as powerful as before.
Marina curled up and drew back with her eyes full of tears.
"I don't understand. Don't hit me..."
Lionel frowned even more tightly and saw her slender neck, which was exposed in the air.
There were a few pink marks on her fair skin.
His expression froze for a moment, but his voice was still as cold as ever.
"You didn't want to break off the engagement, so you drugged me deliberately, right?" he asked.
Marina frowned secretly and thought to herself, "It's said that Lionel is cold and heartless.
It's true. He is not at all softened by my wailing."
She wandered off for a moment while Lionel was out of patience because Marina didn't respond to him for a long time.
"Turn around. I'll put on my clothes," Lionel said impatiently.
Marina pouted, turned her head, and faced the wall obediently.
Two minutes later, she heard the sound of getting out of bed and naturally thought that Lionel was dressed.
Looking back, Marina saw that his upper body was exposed, and he was muscular.
Lionel had a six-pack stomach.
"Uh..."
Marina turned her head hurriedly, and her ears turned red.
"He really deserves to be the dream man of every marriageable woman in Lwandle. His figure and face are perfect!" she thought.
Lionel got dressed neatly and turned his head to find Marina still facing the wall.
"I'll give you a sum of money as compensation," he said.
Marina turned her head and thrashed her head from side to side.
"Lionel, I don't want money. You're responsible for me!"
Lionel got speechless.
