“How dare you?!” Tamara’s deafening shouts echoed in the space where her boyfriend and her close friend Rina were, stacked on top of each other, completely naked while their private parts were still connected.
Both of them expanded their eyes as they saw Tamara flaming in anger.
“Babe!” Jomari quickly stood up and grabbed his briefs to put them on. Tamara’s heart felt like it was about to burst out of her ribcage from the intense pounding, not from nervousness but from the intense anger she felt from what she discovered.
She trusted her boyfriend so much and she just can’t believe he will do that such thing to her.
“You shameless people! You really dared to do your indecency and heat up in my apartment?!” she grabbed all her braveness to shout again, not caring if anyone heard her.
She trembled even more with anger when she saw that Rina didn’t react but instead grinned and seemed to be provoking Tamara even more. Rina touches Jomari’s arm and teases Tamara more.
“Babe, let me explain,” a nervous plea from Jomari, but his words only fueled Tamara’s flames even more, and she quickly stepped forward and slapped Jomari three times as she burst her anger.
“Fuck you! What are you going to explain about what I saw? Are you going to explain that you accidentally inserted your dick in her?!” she let out as she closed her fist firmly. Even though she was trembling with anger, her tears still flowed, wanting to escape from her eyes earlier.
How could he do that to her? She loves him very much and chooses to be with Jomari in the apartment instead of her family. Tamara even fought with her parents just to fight for their relationship, but why did he betray her like this? Why did he deceive Tamara? And why with Rina, her best friend of ten years?
After all, Rina turned out to be a mere counterfeit friend. That’s why she kept getting closed by Jomari, as there was already something in between them. Tamara never anticipated that they would do this to her because first of all, she did nothing wrong or sinful to deserve being fooled by them. She was just loving a person like her boyfriend, why did they repay her like this?
“Isn’t it obvious, Mara? Your boyfriend loves me, that’s why we did this,” Rina interfered. Tamara fell silent, crying, and slowly turned to her former close friend.
“Is that so?” she said in disbelief. With clenched fists, Tamara approached Rina on her bed and violently grabbed her hair. “Is this what you want?!” she let out again at harshly pulled Rina’s hair.
“Let me go!” Rina panicked as Tamara dragged her towards the door. Jomari immediately intervened and went in front of Tamara.
“Let her go, Tam!” Jomari tried to take Rina away, who wasn’t wearing anything at all.
“Get out of here!” Tamara slapped Jomari with all her might to make way. “Leave, you slut! I trusted you. I treated you like a sibling. I fed you and let you stay in my apartment, and now you’re going to seduce my boyfriend? You have a nerve! Are you happy with what you did, huh?”
Tamara continued to pull Rina, who was struggling, holding Tamara’s hand in her hair towards the outside. Rina became even more nervous because she was close to being outside, still not wearing anything, and her body was fully exposed.
“Tamara, stop it!” Jomari pleaded.
Jomari successfully got hold of Rina and immediately hugged her tightly. Tamara burst into tears at what her boyfriend did.
“What did I do to you, huh?!” Tamara wiped her face and pounded the wall in her extreme anger. “Is it because I can’t give you what you want?”
Jomari wants to sleep with Tamara, but Tamara is not ready for sex yet. She is still studying and wants to finish school and find a job without getting pregnant. She wants to get married before giving her body.
She was forced by Jomari several times, and that’s the reason for their constant quarrels.
She couldn’t believe what she saw now, that even her close friend was pursued by him just to satisfy his lust.
“He told me and yes!” Rina answered. “He is a man and he has needs! Is it my fault that he found what he was looking for in me instead of you? I gave myself to him wholeheartedly, and I saw the smile on his face that he never showed to you because you’re playing hard to get! You pretend to be innocent, but you’re just as promiscuous!” Rina added while putting on her clothes.
Tamara glared at Rina with clenched teeth, ready to grab her, and was about to pull her hair when Jomari suddenly pushed her away.
“Try to hurt Rina, and you’ll have to deal with me!” Jomari raged and threw his watch beside Tamara. “Let’s break up. Yes, because you’re not giving me what I want, that’s why I found it with Rina. I wish she was my girlfriend instead of you!” he sneered. “And with her, I felt the love that I never felt with you since you accepted me. I just really want your body because you’re enticing, but you’re still playing hard to get!”
Tamara’s mouth fell open at his words, feeling like knives piercing her heart. “You have the nerve to say we should break up?!” Tamara stood up aggressively and slapped Jomari three times while she gasped for breath. She held back her tears because she didn’t want to appear weak in front of them. “You two deserve each other! You’re both reckless! You’re so lustful! Get out!” her shout echoed as she pointed to the door. “And don’t you dare show yourself to me again! Especially you, Rina, because if you’re alone, I’ll shave your head!” she threatened as the two left her apartment. She slammed the door shut heavily as she left.
Her courage suddenly vanished as if disappearing into thin air, and she fell to her knees, her heart heavy. Her shoulders trembled as she sobbed painfully.
Jomari was her fourth boyfriend, and the reason was always the same. They only wanted her body, and she felt that they never really loved her.
“Why am I so unlucky in love? Is it really me who has the problem?” she asked herself, holding her chest. “I gave my love to them, why do they only want my body? Why not my heart?”
She covered her face with both hands and sobbed heavily behind them. She couldn’t believe that her closest friend had just deceived her.
She regretted turning her back on her parents for a man she thought would love her completely and forever.
But Tamara was known to be fierce and brave, and she wouldn’t let Jomari and Rina be happy. She vowed to make their lives hell at school, that was her promise to herself.
And she also promised herself not to love another man for the time being. She would prioritize herself first.
That night, her mind couldn’t rest because of what she witnessed. Her question of what was wrong with her kept haunting her. She wasn’t ugly, nor was she a demon. But why were the men who came into her life like that? Didn’t she deserve to be loved?
Even at home, she didn’t feel her family’s love. She fought with her siblings all the time. Her parents were busy with their company, and her grandparents were in another country. There was no one left by her side.
Maybe she was destined to be alone. She would just accept the reality. There was nothing she could do. Her parents were angry with her because of Jomari. She would try another day to reconcile with her parents.
