David sighed, “do you still love him?” he asked the first thought that came to his mind.
“Honestly David, I don't know.” she sighed, “I mean I’m annoyed at the fact that we had it so good or so I thought, I mean it was good, doing everything together and all and he left suddenly without even having the courage to break up with me, I resent him for that, but then at the other end, I can't deny the fact that my heart beats wildly whenever I see him and I want a sort of explanation.”
David sighed, he didn't want her to, but he knew she had to confront her feelings before she could decide if she had moved on or there was still something
“So it's like I want to see him and at the same time, I don't want to see him.” Amarachi concluded.

Why are you thanking me?” He asked confused for a moment and then smiled. “You thought I was about to let you go? No baby, I just wanted to make sure you won’t be crying till we get home anymore.” He laughed as he brought out a table of water, unfasten his seat belt and pinned her to her seat. He forcefully opened her mouth and poured the water down her throat.
“What the fuck did you do to me?” She asked, seconds later, feeling dizzy it couldn't be that he poisoned her, no way would he do that, she must have been mistaken, that wasn't Jacob or was nine years enough for someone to change?
“Yeah, sleep baby, yes you should.”
“Jacob, how could you?” she said drowsy.
“Oh well, ” he shrugged. “You need sleep.” She fell asleep seconds later and Jacob searched her pocket for her phone, he found the phone and threw it out the door. No one was going to have access to her, not even her mother. Perhaps when they are with kids, he would have no problem showing her to the world again, but for now, she was his and his alone and all he wanted to do is keep her away from the world, with him where she belonged to.
