As soon as she finished speaking, Eloise Wotton planted a kiss on the man she pinned below her passionately.
"Eloise, how dare you!!!"
Sebastian Ackre responded, his teeth gritted and his handsome face twisted in anger.

The next morning, as dawn was breaking, Eloise awoke.

But Sebastian didn't believe for a second that Eloise would divorce him.
With a surge of anger, he quickly dressed and stormed downstairs.
"Did you see Eloise?" he demanded from the butler.
The butler, Remi Bretton, looked taken aback. "Sir, the Madam left before sunrise, carrying her luggage."
Sebastian was left in shock!

Eloise had just walked out of the research lab when she heard her assistant, Linda, inform her, "Dr. Wotton, Professor Gunney requests your presence in his office. He has a matter to discuss with you."
Despite having pulled an all-nighter, Eloise instantly became alert upon hearing this. "Did he mention what it is about? Did my two little brats ruin the research results again?"
Linda responded, a hint of sympathy in her eyes. "It seems likely."

Linda tried to comfort Eloise. "You've been locked in your lab for three days straight. Eric and Ezra were worried about your health and kept pestering Professor Gunney in his office. I think I noticed a few more strands of white hair on his head."
Eloise felt a headache coming on at Linda's words, but she couldn't help but smile.
Six years ago, after leaving the Ackre family, she moved abroad to pursue her studies, only to unexpectedly find she had become pregnant.

She had given birth to triplets—two boys and a girl.
