In a room with a theme color of masculine grey and black, with long velvet curtains that sparkled overhead to the plush carpets that muffled each footsteps, Xaden is seen standing before the mirror adjusting his tie with a precision and focus that belied his immense wealth and power, his grey eyes and art like face carved into seriousness and concentration
He'd worn a tailored suit of the finest wool, black as night and fitted to his muscular frame with surgical precision, his cufflinks were diamonds, their brilliance matching the cold steely glint of his eyes.
He was a masterpiece of the Divine,his features chiseled to perfection by a sculptor of the gods, his dark hair was swept backwards revealing a face that could launch a thousand ships, sharp cheekbones, a chiseled jawline and piercing eyes that gleamed like twin sapphires in the light of the glided mirror.
Xaden was just about to move to get his suit from the king sized bed when a familiar scream from downstairs reached his ears,the scream pierced the silence like a knife, shattering the stillness of the day. Xaden's heart jumped in his chest, a hint of fear and worry could be seen in his eyes as he murmured the name.
" Mira!!!! "
He immediately leapt from his position dashing out of the room, his eyes darting to the staircases that led downstairs.
Xaden raced through the halls of his grand parlor, his footsteps echoing on the marble floors as he hoped and prayed she wasn't hurt for her to have screamed like that. He soon arrived at the living room, his eyes wide and searching,his chest heaving with excertion.
Looking around, he found her seated on the floor close to the dinning hall with her teddy and he raced towards her. As soon as he got to her position,he squatted to her level and cupped her face gently causing her already watery eyes to look up at him.
"What happened Love"
He asked with all the love in the world ,his eyes searching all over her body to see if she was okay, if she was hurt anywhere .
As Xaden stared at her waiting for a reply, he almost got lost in her eyes and her features, she was so d*mn beautiful,she was a vision of innocent and classic beauty combined, her face heart-shaped and delicate like a fragile doll,her hair a vibrant shade of natural red fell in a wild pixie cut that framed her face and added to her child like air,her eyes a deep shade of emerald held a hint of sadness and confusion.
When she spoke,her voice was soft and high pitched like the sound of wind chimes in a gentle breeze but beneath her fragile exterior,a darkness lurked,a wild past,w hidden Dept that revealed itself in her unpredictable mood swings and childlike behavior
. "What's wrong Love,huh,are you hurt somewhere" Xaden asked again when she didn't reply him and that was when she timidly pointed towards a tiny scratch on her knee area before she began to explain in her tiny voice.
"T-that table hit me hubby" she cried. " It hit me and I fell down" she whined
Xaden glanced at the small glass table she was pointing at before his eyes returned to the tiny scratch on her leg,he rolled his eyes in relief before he signed,this wife of his was too much,it seemed that in her clumsiness she may have bumped into the table.
"Ssshhh, that's enough"
Xaden began consoling his wife as he stroked her hair, and when he noticed she was about to start crying,he returned his eyes back to her small scratch and he began to blow on it gently.
" There,it'll be fine okay" he assured before he placed a soft kiss on her leg trying to suit her and the kiss seemed to work.
"Even puma fell down too" she continued bringing her teddy towards Xaden's face,at this point.
Xaden knew at this point he had to match his wife's child like energy and so he had no choice but to pet her puma as well. After blowing on her scratch once more, Xaden turned towards her and cupped her small face.
" Promise hubby you won't fall again" he said tenderly and Mira pouted her lips before she nodded her head.
"I,i promise I won't fall again hubby" she said in a low pitch voice
"That's good" Xaden smiled. "now give hubby a kiss" he said before Mira immediately leaned towards him pouting her lips adorably giving Xaden the chance to place a soft smack on her red luscious lips.
Mira giggled as soon as their lips parted,the pecks that they shared was always a fascinating thrill that she'd never get used to. Xaden smiled seeing her giggle from the kiss,this wife of his was too much. He looked back at the clock to see that it was already 11:06 Am, he was very late for work now and Mira also needed to rest as she'd been all around the house since she woke up this morning.
He had just fed her a while ago and switched on the TV for her to watch while he got dressed. Xaden moved his hands underneath his wife and swept her off the ground into his strong arms, it was time for her nap.
As he carried her up to the room,Mira held on tightly to her teddy in the arms of her husband and as soon as they arrived at the room, Xaden dropped her on the bed.
All through their way on the stairs,she had been blabbering all about going to Disney Land,the one from the TV and all Xaden did was to agree with her on everything and after that,she moved to ice cream.
"Hubby" she called out
"Mmmm" Xaden replied looking back at her from the wardrobe " I'm here love"
"Hubby we, we'll get ice cream later right"
"Yes love,we most definitely would" Xaden replied pulling out her medicine kit box before walking back to her.
"Then we'll have cake and pastries later"
"Yes love" he replied opening one of the medicine bottles. " Open your mouth love " he gently requested and because Mira was so giddy about them getting ice cream and cake, she immediately opened her mouth and Xaden made her drink all of her medicines
