Introducción

My boyfriend suddenly became handsome. When I used to like him, a group of people said I had a problem with my eyes. Aside from being a good student, he was fat and had a bad temper. They asked me, as the school belle, how I could have fallen for him. Now, people are saying: Why would the school hunk let a bewitching slut be his girlfriend?

Chapter 1

I was waiting for Jerry outside their classroom.

On the last class of Friday, there were more couples waiting outside the stepped classroom, and a few groups of girls discussing something.

"Is he Jerry?"

A girl with double ponytails asked her short-haired companion, her voice not too soft.

"He's so handsome, how come I've never heard of him before?"

"I heard it's because he lost weight. Ah, he already had a partner before, blame it on us for not having foresight."

"Who's his partner?"

"You don't know? Niki from the painting department."

"..."

I heard my name, followed by a moment of silence.

"That girl? How could he fall for her," someone whispered.

I shrugged, hands in my pockets as I peeked into the classroom. Jerry was sitting in the front row, head down verifying his work.

The fading sunlight happened to cast on his side profile, illuminating his amber-like clear eyes.

I didn't care if he looked good or not.

I only cared that now that he had become better looking, catching everyone's attention, would this person of mine no longer be mine?

Ten minutes before the class ended, I sneakily messaged him.

Asking what he wanted for dinner.

He seemed to have glanced at his phone but didn't reply.

So I waited till his class ended. On the last class before the weekend, students couldn't sit still, and the teacher didn't prolong the session either.

The door opened and I eagerly rushed towards him, but a girl stopped him to ask him a question.

"Sister, we're in a hurry to go eat," I hooked Jerry's neck and winked at the girl who was asking questions.

"But..."

The girl looked at him with some difficulty, and the fire in my heart was rising rapidly.

"I'm not hungry."

After a while, Jerry lowered his eyes. When he bent down to write the problem, he moved farther away from me.

"..."

You weren't this enthusiastic when I asked you questions in high school.

The sound of the two of them discussing the problem was actually quite low, like whispers. I couldn't understand the profound problems studied in the mathematics department, so I just found a spot to sit.

The sunset glow enveloped half of the remaining sun. I traced Jerry's outline with my finger, and then drew a big cross over it.

There are more girls who like Jerry now, not good.
