I didn't know why I agreed to come with Legan to the bar,I mean, I love coming to the bar but today isn't that day,I have work suffering and days like Monday shouldn't be wasted.
He had come to me earlier today begging i come with him to the bar,he had claimed that he wanted to discuss something important to tell me.
I knew there was absolutely nothing special legan had to say,but his endless persuasiveness had pushed me here to the bar and i totally regrets it.
It's 7pm in the night already.
"Anything strong " I heard him say to the bartender.
I looked at him scornfully,for some reasons,that idiot choose to avoid my gaze.
"Why are we here?" I asked him that very question popping in my head.
"To have fun obviously,don't tell me you're now blind" he replied giggling like the fool he's.
"Aren't you ordering for anything?" He added drinking the cocktail in one gulp.
"Refill" he signalled to the bartender who did as he was informed.
"I will have to take my leave if you don't have anything reasonable to say to me" I threatened standing up.
"Chill man.." Legan laughed "those looks aren't for me you know,you can only intimidate sluts with your looks" Legan replied smiling sheepishly.
" Plus Aunt put me up to this,she's worried you are going to die a lonely man" he added.
I looked at him in disbelief,who in their right sense finds a wife in a bar.
"And you expect me to find a wife here?" I turned at the slutty environment he brought me in "Are you insane?"
"Don't you love them hot and slutty?" Legan asked.
It's so obvious I had indulge myself with an idiot.
Legan had been my friend since childhood,and he's practically the only one that can be this free with me aside from my mum and little niece Janet.
"I'm getting outta here" I replied gulping on his drinks.
Not waiting for his response,i conveyed myself out through the noisy environment.
"That's mine you know,it's called stealing" he called after me.
I knew Legan hates having drinks alone,and as it's obvious I'm not in for fun tonight,he had no choice but to tag along.
I smirked paving my way through the exit,but I suddenly feel dizzy.
My legs became heaver and several sharp pains from allover my body hits me.
I'm sure i wasn't drunk,what i had was the little cocktail i drank from Legan's glass.
My view became blurry as a sharp pain hit my abdomen.
I shrink in pain.
"Are you okay?" Legan asked concerned.He's suddenly beside me,holding my left wrist and checking me out to see if all is well with me.
My face held it's usual plain and expressionless gaze so i didn't give him the clue that i was actually in pain.
"You are a strong drinker,you can't be drunk from just a glass right?" He added trying to be sure i am really okay.
"Shut up!" I say as I tried my steps again,It felt so heavy,i tried to lift it but it failed,my legs gave way and I fall heavily on the floor,my head banging from headaches.
"Jade?" Legan called in a scared voice.
"Jade...!!!"
His voice became faint,I couldn't hear what he was trying to say as my view got darker and eventually I passed out.

I woke up to the pungent smell of hospital disinfect invading my nostril.
The room was silent apart from my heavy breathing and the beep sound coming from the machine that indicates someone is alive.
I slowly opened my eyes, squinting in attempt to sharpen the blurred images before me,I looked around and took in deserted blue and white color schemed hospital bedroom.
What am I doing in here?
I shut my eyes trying to remember what had happened.
"You're awake Mr Allison" a very familiar female voice said anxiously.
I opened my eyes,turned towards the owner of the voice..Luella.
Luella is my personal assistant and bodyguard,the next person closest to me after Legan.
I tried sitting up only to discover I had been dressed in the light blue garment of patients admitted and receiving treatment in the hospital.
The frail but strong hand of my personal assistant helped me sit up,my head banging from severe headache.
"How long have I been here?" I asked her after resting my head on the pillow she set above my head,the pain in my abdomen strikes again this time not too painful.
I guess the doctor must have given me some injections that help reduced the pain.
"Thirteen hours Mr Allison" she replied bowing before taking her seat beside the bed.
I looked at her almost immediately,my eyes popped out in uttermost horror.
My memory came gushing in,I was at the bar last night with Legan before I slumped.
"Last night?" So i had been here for the whole night.
I looked around and my left hand was swollen from drips i was receiving.
"Thirteen what!!"
"Yes boss,you...." She trailed off as my mum came in with two doctors and a nurse.
"You're awake son" mum said rushing towards me,from her looks,I could sense she had tears in her eyes.
"Mother" I called engulfed in her warm hugs,I rested my heads on her chest while she patted me lovely.
"You slept for a really long time baby" she said and released her hand from the warm embrace.
"Mr Allison" a tall Chinese looking doctor greeted nodding his head,I turned to him and nodded in anticipation.
"Why am I in here" I asked not bothering about anything else,if there's anything i needed urgently now,is to be set free.
I can't imagine how the company would be without me being there for a day,all this thought going through my mind,i couldn't take it in anymore.
"Take this off me,I'm fine now" i ordered no one in particular.
"You can't leave here now Mr. Allison" the doctor replied.
I geared at him scornfully,no one had ever told me not to do what i wanted and certainly not this Doctor.
"Why not?" I asked,angry in return.
I could feel he felt intimidated as he flinched a little.
I chuckled inwardly,these are the authority i have on others.
"Because you're sick Mr Allison" the doctor said sceptically,more like he wished he wasn't the one to break the news of me being sick to me.
I looked at him dumbfounded,how can someone like me be sick,yeah I'm human but I take all precautions just to avoid this particular place. Yes,one could call me a neat freak cause I make sure nothing like dirt come close to me.
My staffs all go to the extreme in order to keep their job by making sure dirt isn't found anywhere around me.
"I'm doctor Ling Yang,your attending surgeon" the Chinese looking doctor introduced.
One could really tell his nationality from his looks and accent.
"What business do I have with a surgeon?" I asked no one in particular already pissed off,hospitals are places I hate to find myself in.
"You're sick boss" Luella replied sadly.
I hissed inwardly,my expressions changed from cold to anger.
I hate to hear that word"sick".
"You were diagnosed of kidney infection,both kidney boss" she explained handling a file to me,the file consist of diagrams of my own very kidney,like how can two kidney fail and I'm here very much alive.
"What?" I heard my voice say.
I collected the file from her and my heart leaps in uttermost horror seeing the report before me.
"You don't have much time left Mr Allison,and trust me when I say a transplant is needed urgently" doctor yang said.
"This is insane,Luella" I called angrily.
"My mum tapped me gently and reassuring me that all is under control.
This is not right,this idiot of a doctor is telling me right here that I needed an urgent kidney transplant when they should be on the search for it already.
"Boss a transplant list has been paced out on the Internet,Mrs Allison and the president had tried offering but their kidney does not match with yours sir" she explained almost immediately.
"And yours?" I asked with no emotions at all. At this point in time,i don't give a fuck who my speech hurts,i just want to get out of here.
"I...I..." She shuttered,trailing off in disappointment,the first time i did see a hint of feeling or remorse in her eyes.
One reason i hired Luella was because of her strict and fearless nature,she harbour no feeling whatsoever.
"She only have one, son" my mum said helping her out.
I stared at her,and i could feel how unhappy she was.
"Then do the needful! Place a high price tag on it,I must be out of this hell of a place in twenty four hours!!"
Now everything is just getting hotter,I have got lots of business to attend to,a business trip and piles of contract to sign..
"Gosh!" I cursed inwardly hitting my hands hard on the soft hospital bed.
"Yes boss" Luella replied and picked up her phone to make the necessary calls.
"A million dollars" I called after her.
"Yes boss" she paused to see if i still wanted to say something.
"Make it three" I added,that should attract a huge amount of people.
"Noted boss" she Said and excused herself.
That's who i was,Jade Allison and i always believe in money make things possible.
I worked hard for my money to know that one had to strive hard to get to that height and that was what live had taught me.

"You shouldn't stress yourself too much son,your father and I will see to your safety" my mum said emotionally,i could tell she was at the verge of breaking down in tears.
" it's okay mum,things will work out fine" i replied giving her a reassuring smile.
She patted my hair lovely and excused herself alongside doctor yang who said he wants to see her in his office.
Just then,Luella worked in.
"The rate of donors is high Mr. Allison" Luella said coming into the ward.
"In less than one hour,the right donor should be found" she added.
"Check whats going on in the company" i ordered
"JRT company president withdraw his shares from our company Mr Allison"
"Why?" I asked angrily,just few hours and I'm already loosing very important shareholders like Mr Williams.
"His service i presume wasn't attend yo on time and the rumor that you are hospitalised is spreading like wildfire" she explained showing me the God forsaken news.
"The Beautiful CEO of Allison Foundation is diagnosed of cancer of the lungs,it's obvious he isn't going to make it Alive" an headline reads.
"Mr. Allison slumped and he's assumed dead" another headline reads.
"The cold but cute Demi God is hospitalised,what would become of the foundation?"
"Make sure you track up all this Press and sue them" i said to Luella while i shut the tab.
"Yes Mr. Allison"
This is really insane!
I ought to get out of this place in twenty four hours!
