Few days later
After my mum's burial and rituals, I decided to pay sage a visit at least to tell me where the bracelet it, so it will give me a head up on how to fulfill my mum's last Wish, I swam gently to sage's house
"Sage, are you in??" I asked knocking softly at the door
"Yes am in, Regina come in" he said and I swam inside and sat down
"Regina am sorry about your mum, Please accept my condolences, I wish I could visit you but you know old age won't permit me to swim far... I remember during my young age I was the fastest merman".. he said smiling and I smiled a little
Truth to be told he is the oldest merman and also the oldest sage in the ocean
"Sage I came to see you concerning somethings, before my mum died she told me about a particular bracelet that is meant to be passed on to every female child in our family, but somehow it got to the wrong hands, she told me to come to you so you will shed more light on it" I said and he smiled
"Ohhhh that's true, this is how it started, your mum and Eliza were very good friends, everybody in the ocean knows that and everyone envied their friendship because if the kind of bond they shared, after so many years, when it was time for your mum to get married, she got married to the most handsome merman, though he is from another ocean, which got her angry the more because she knows that once she gets married she will become the queen automatically, so she seduced your father but he declined, she tried so many times but your father stood on his words, seeing that your father isn't ready to dance to her tunes, she started looking for a way to steal the bracelet, your mother trusted Eliza so much that she told her every rituals she needs to perform in order to capture the bracelet, which made it very easy for her,
Fortunately for her she, captured the bracelet, and the greedy priests made her the queen after so many promises she made to them, immediately she became the queen she ordered your father's death, but she was unable to kill your mother because your mom was already carrying you" he explained and I sobbed quietly
No wonder my mum never told me about my father's death, she always avoid the question,
"So sage how can I get the bracelet??" I asked and he breathe in deeply, "Gina the bracelet is no longer in the ocean, the bracelet is now in the man's world" he said and I was shocked
"But how, I thought man's world is forbidden for us, how come is now in man's world

"Sage you keep talking about special Powers but I can't even feel it, I don't know I have them and how will I even know if I have seen the bracelet, how will I know I have gotten close to it??" I asked
