"Clara wake up " matron Susan said switching on the lights."are you okay today your last to wake up. "
"sorry matron, I slept late revising, I'll be ready in a minute. " Clara said getting up
She is aloof to many but it's because she doesn't know any better the love she gets is from the matron and it's strictly displinary and congratulations when work well done,
So she doesn't understand why other kids pick on her even if they are all from the orphanage.
Sandra likes to defend Clara even when she doesn't recognize her presences but she doesn't chase her away, she's the only person she can relate as friends .
" hey Clara your finally here I have been waiting for you I got you your breakfast. " Sandra says when she sees her idol.
Since they have been to the orphanage for years they have known each other characters and Sandra knows Clara is loyal even when everyone thinks she doesn't communicate like a good friend she should be,
She comes over and sits down and start eating while Sandra talks about their coming examinations, it's their final exam to graduation from high school. Everyone is excited about it because that's when all the kids can go out to the world.
The orphanage sponsors the best performances to higher level of education while others get to choose what they want to do with their lives, because after graduation they have a minimum of six months to move out and give room.
Clara and Sandra have been in the orphanage form when they were younger. Sandra's parents died when she was 5 years and no relatives wanted a burden to raise her.
While Clara does know why she was there Matron Susan told her she was left there at the door of the orphanage with a note.
That's all she has known and as she grew up and got bullied she joined martial arts and with time she became good at it, it's one of the reasons Sandra is glued to her side and always doing everything she can for Clara. She feels endebted.
Clara's personality is very complex no one seems to get her so she mostly stays quiet unless she's talking to the matron.
"Everyone listens up " Matron Susan quieten everyone chatting while eating
"after today's exam government official will come to inspect our orphanage and to give the well performed students scholarship and internship to the deserved students so make me proud. "
Everyone was cheering except Clara who looked bored.
After everyone has left Clara just sat and was in daze until Sandra snapped her out of it.
" this days I have noticed you space out so often, don't worry I know you will do better as always you shouldn't be worried at all. And when we get out of here I wouldn't let you escape from me. ..." Sandra kept Talking but Clara just stood up and started heading to their class Sandra followed her.
