Qingshan Village, a poor and remote place.
Even back in the day, the Qingshan Village was never visited by the invaders.
Why?
There was no road.
To get to the village, one had to cross over mountains for three hours. No matter how many invaders came, they would all be too tired to even move.
It was because of this that the Qingshan Village had maintained its original appearance over the years without any development.
"Qingshan Village, I, Lin Xiaoqiang, have finally returned!" Standing atop the Qingshan Mountain, Lin Xiaoqiang cheerfully gazed at the small village nestled amongst the mountains. "The pretty faces of Poppy, the long legs of Rose, and the perky figure of Lily, goodbye!"
Poppy, Rose, and Lily, these three women, were all members of Lin Xiaoqiang's unit, personally chosen by him. Each one of them was an unexpectedly beautiful woman.
It's a shame that having come back now, it will be difficult to see them again.
It's okay though, after serving five years in the army, it's time to go home and contribute to my hometown.
With that, Lin Xiaoqiang hopped off the mountain and entered the village.
"Uncle Zhao, what are you rushing for?" Lin Xiaoqiang stopped Uncle Zhao, who had a large pipe in his hand and was running hurriedly in one direction.
"Are you Lin Xiaoqiang?" Zhao turned his head and, upon seeing Lin Xiaoqiang, asked.
"That's right!" Lin Xiaoqiang grinned and asked, "Uncle Zhao, what are you rushing for? Has someone's young wife forgotten to close the door while bathing or what?"
"Lin Xiaoqiang, stop teasing me. Your return is well-timed, hurry home! The bully, Wang Dachui, is trying to force your sister into marriage!" Shouted Zhao urgently at Lin Xiaoqiang. "You better hurry! Wang Dachui said if your parents refuse again today, he'll cripple their legs and take her away by force!"
"What?" Lin Xiaoqiang was taken aback and said, "Old man Zhao, are you serious?"
"Why would I lie to you? Hurry up, if you're too late, it will be too late!" Old man Zhao urged hastily.
"Damm!" Lin Xiaoqiang looked at Old man Zhao, who didn't seem to be joking at all, and suddenly got angry. Damn it, Wang Dachui, the bastard, he has a lot of nerve to forcibly marry my sister!
So, Lin Xiaoqiang immediately ran towards home.
Old man Zhao stood there in a daze, saying, "What's Lin Xiaoqiang doing? He's so fast? He disappeared in a blink of an eye!"
Looking again at Lin Xiaoqiang, he had arrived at his own doorstep. Clearly, he could see a lot of people standing at the front door, including that bastard Wang Dachui.
His parents and sister were standing in front of Wang Dachui, arguing with him about something.
"Wang Dachui, please, let go of my daughter. She's only eighteen," Lin Xiaoqiang's mother pleaded with Wang Dachui.
Wang Dachui waved his hand dismissively, and said lewdly, "What's wrong with eighteen? Fully developed, right? It's just right to marry her off."
"I will definitely pay back the money I owe your family. Can you give me a few more days? Please don't take my daughter away. If you do, her life will be ruined!" Lin Xiaoqiang's father pleaded with a face full of desperation.
"Dad, Mom, what's going on?" Lin Xiaoqiang emerged from the crowd, walked to his parents, and asked.
"Xiaoqiang, you're back?" Seeing Lin Xiaoqiang, his parents were first elated, and instantly felt like they found their backbone. They immediately said to Lin Xiaoqiang, "Xiaoqiang, quickly talk to Wang Dachui. You absolutely cannot let him marry off your sister."
"Okay, Mom and Dad. I'll handle this." Lin Xiaoqiang nodded, then looked at Wang Dachui and said, "Wang Dachui, what's going on?"
"What's going on? Can't you see? Your family owes my family money, and it's past the due date. I'm going to marry your sister to settle the debt. It's that simple." Wang Dachui was not at all intimidated by Lin Xiaoqiang's return. He spoke even louder.
"How much?" Lin Xiaoqiang asked. He brought some money back this time. It wasn't much, but it should be enough to pay the family's debts.
"Not much, just ten thousand!" Wang Dachui stretched out his hand, saying this.
"Wang Dachui, it's clearly just five thousand. You can't just spout nonsense like that!" said Lin Xiaoqiang's mother as soon as she heard this, her voice raised.
"Oh, you old hag, do you have any brains?" Wang Dachui looked at Lin Xiaoqiang's mother disdainfully, saying, "Five thousand is the principal amount, and the rest is the interest. Understand? You're already old and you still don't understand this. I really wonder how you've lived this long?"
"Isn't the interest rate a tad high? A principal of five thousand and an interest of five thousand, this shit is more than a usury!" Lin Xiaoqiang squinted at Wang Dachui, 'So, you insult my mom, huh? I'll remember this.'
"What about it? It's my money, I call the shots. If you can pay today, it's ten thousand. If you can't, I'll take the person. It's that simple. Hurry up and give me a straight answer!" Wang Dachui said impatiently, waving his hand.
"How about this." Lin Xiaoqiang gave a faint smile. "I'll give you fifteen thousand. How's that?"
"Fifteen thousand? Why is there an extra five thousand?" Wang Dachui asked, taken aback.
"The extra five thousand will be considered as medical expenses," Lin Xiaoqiang responded, with the same faint smile.
"Medical expenses? What medical expenses?" Wang Dachui was confused, he still didn't understand what Lin Xiaoqiang meant.
"Don't understand, huh? You will soon!" Lin Xiaoqiang said, then punched Wang Dachui in the head. Wang Dachui immediately collapsed onto the ground.
"Lin Xiaoqiang, how the hell can you hit people?" He finally understood what Lin Xiaoqiang meant by 'medical expenses'.
"Medical expenses, huh? If I don't hit you, where would the medical expenses come from?" Lin Xiaoqiang's expression darkened. "Damn it, you marry my sister, curse at my mom, if I don't beat you until your mom can't recognize you, my five years in the military was all for nothing!"
"No more, no more!" Wang Dachui waved his hands quickly. "I don't want the five thousand for medical expenses, and I don't want the five thousand of interest either!"
Wang Dachui came alone today. He thought he could easily handle two country bumpkins and an underage girl, but he didn't expect to encounter Lin Xiaoqiang. And Lin Xiaoqiang's punch was damn heavy, it left his head throbbing in pain!
Buzzing noises filled his ears.
"That's not how it works, it's my money, I call the shots! Even if you don't want it, you have to take it!" Lin Xiaoqiang donned a faint smile once more, and raised his hand to continue 'greeting' Wang Dachui.
