Caleb's pov
It was the same as every other day. Caleb just sat in his throne, his mother sat next to him on her throne on his left and his father on the right. Calebs beta and delta stood to the side in the oval room. Caleb was busy with trails. Each month they would run through the prisoners and give each prisoner his or her punishment. They were currently busy with a rogue prisoner's trail. The rogue had trespassed on Caleb's territory and tried to kill one of the pack's children. The rogue could barely keep his eyes open, Caleb did not know if it was due too the rogue two blue eyes or due to exhaustion, or maybe due too both reasons.
Caleb did not even need to think about the rogues punishment, he knew exactly what to do with the dirty mutt.
"Let him hang by his hands for two weeks. After that, let the child's parents,who he tried too kill, decide how the mutt should die. " Caleb said coldly.
Caleb was not a bad person, but he had to be tough and cold if he wanted to run a successfull pack and make sure that his pack was safe. Caleb cared about his pack and had too make sure that their enemies knew not to mess with them.
Caleb simply nodded to one of the gaurds to let him know that he could take the rogue back to his cell, where he would preped for his punishment. As the one gaurd removed the one prisoner, the other gaurd brought in the next prisoner. This prisoner was different. This prisoner was a human - a girl human.
The gaurd carried in the non-conscious girl and threw her down on the ground. Her dark brown hair cover most of her face. It was clear she had recieved next to non food on how thin she seemed and she was coverd in dirt and a bit of her own blood. Her nails were black with dirt and her skin carried blue splotses. It did not matter that she was a girl or that she was human - all prisoners were treated the same untill their trail said otherwise.
"This girl wondered into our territory, she saw the training ground and she witnessed some wolves transforming. She saw our secret, alpha. She knows to much." The gaurd that broth in the girl spoke. Caleb knew what he had to do, there was no qeustion about it and noting personal to his decisions. She simple knew to much, humans could never know about werewolves. That was against werewolf law.
"We both know what the law says, Derek. We kill her. Just make it clean, Derek." Caleb said and nodded to the gaurd- Derek.
Derek picked the girl up by the shoulders and let her rest on her knees. Her head hang as she was still knocked out. Derek placed the girls body against his legs so that it would not fall over and then placed his one hand beneath her chin and his other across her head, ready to break her neck. Just as derek was about to kill her, her eyes only sligtly opened and she whispered one word only.
"Please." Her whisper was as soft as if she did not say anything, but it still reached the alpha's ears. Before Caleb could even realize what he was doing he shot up and in a blink of an eye, made his way to Derek. He threw Derek back across the room, the gaurds body slammed against the cement floor and it was clear that he was out cold. Once Derek's hands and legs left the human girl's body she fell over towards the floor. Caleb stood over her body and looked at his hands in shocked. He dis not understand what just happened and kept on looking at his hands as if the answer was written on them. Calebs father and mother rose from their seats and calebs delta and beta took a stel forward. Everyones wolves were on edge, because their alpha's wolf was on guard, almost restless. Something was not right, that much was clear.
Caleb bend down and looked at the human. He did not know why he did what he did, but it was like he was not in control. It was not like his wolf had taken over, it was like not him or his wolf was in control. To him it felt like he was outside his body and just watching how his body would naturally function.
As he was bend down next to the human his hand moved too the human's hair. He lightly grabbed the string of hair that hung over her face. He run his fingers down her hair and stopped just before the tips of her hair. The softly placed the hair behind her ears so that her face was revieled. Caleb just looked at her face for a while. She had dark brown eyebrows and thick lashes. She had a cute button nose. Her bone structure was potent, but he did not know if that was due to her lack of food. Her lips where full, but filled with cracks due to them being so dry. He wanted too stare at her longer, wanting to see more details of her face, but her eyes open, only for a second, but that was enough.
She had gorgeous dark blue eyes. They captured Calebs full attention and his wolf as well.
'Mate' Fin, calebs wolf, said as if he himself was in shocked. Once those words were spoken, calebs jumped up and stumbled away from the human girl as if she was fire. Caleb had no idea what his wolf just meant. He understood the word, but it could not be possible that his mate could be a human. Not ones in the werewolf history has any wolf ever had a human mate. It was not possible, it just could not be.
"My son, what is going on?" Calebs mother, Sarah, asked. Caleb did not even know what to say to them.
"Do you wish to kill the human in a different way?" Andrew, Caleb's father, asked. Fin quickly reacted protectively and stood in front of his mate's body and gave calebs father a warning snarl. Caleb retook control immediately after his wolf impulsive actions.
"Gaurds, leave us now!" Caleb demanded. All the qaurds scurred away and calebs father and mother as well as his beta and delta made their way closer to caleb.
"What is it, caleb?" Matthew, Caleb's beta asked concerned. His wolf could feel Fin's unrestlessness. Only Calebs family and friends could call him by name. Caleb looked over his shoulder at the human girl and then back at his family. The uncertainty and confusion was clear in Caleb's eyes.
"Something is wrong. Something is very wrong." Caleb said softly, making sure no-one could hear him other then the peolple he wanted too hear him. Eveyone looked at each other, the fear slowly rising with in everyone.
"My son." Caleb's mother said softly and took her childs hand, as if he was still a baby instead of a 17 year old grown up.
"What is going on?" She spoke with care and fear. Caleb's mother was a very soft spoken women and she ratted love. He look at his mother and then he looked over his shoulder again. Give the human girl one last looked. He took in a big breath and whisperes the last words everyone expected.
"My wolf thinks that this human girl is ... is my." Caleb stopped and run his free hand over his face. Everyone around him held their breath.
"My wolf think this girl is my ... is my mate."
