Alison ran across the hallway, she was forty minutes late for class, God save her if she doesn't get punished,
" Damn it" she cursed inwardly, peeping inside the class room.
It was Mr. Tom, the teacher she hated most in the school.
"Good.. morning sir" she greeted, hurrying to her desk.
" You're late again" he said without looking at her.
" I'm sorry sir" she apologized, joining the class work.
Alison was a habitual late comer, she didn't have much chores at home but she was always the last to leave for school.
She heaved a sigh as Mr. Tom decided not to punish her today.
She always cleaned the school's garden, every day, so sicky.
" Try to come early sometimes......." Her best friend Laura muttered.
" I...... will" Alison whispered panting, the heck.....
Soon it was time for lunch, Alison headed for the canteen with her with her best friends, Laura and Aladin, they were very popular.
