Prologue
"Put the pink flowers close to the altar" I said,planting my face in my palms.
"Ibukun, harmony needs you"one of the bridesmaids said.
"Tell her I'll be there in a minute"I said and she disappeared into the crowd of workers
"The caterers are asking if they should serve the food down or wait till the wedding starts"someone asked
"Tell them to start with the appetizers,then maybe serve the food later"I said
"Okay"
I walked to the room where harmony was getting ready.
"You needed me?"I asked harmony
"Yes,I'm nervous"she said moving the white veil from her face.
"You look beautiful"I told her and she smiled.
"What if this isn't the best idea?,I mean getting married. What was I thinking?"she asked, breaking down
"Hey, don't, don't cry. Xavier's a good guy and you love him" I said comforting her.
"You're saying this because you're friend"she said, carefully wiping her tears off.
"I'm telling the truth, you'll ruin your make up if you cry"I told her and she nodded.
The door creaked.
"I hope I'm not interrupting anything? A voice asked
That voice
That voice that made butterflies erupt deep inside me.
"No,not at all"I said facing him, facing his perfect face.
"I'll like to talk to my sister"he said
"Okay,I'll see you later harmony"I said and left.
Tomiwa Adewale,the only man that made my heart beat like crazy.

"You may kiss the bride"the priest said, and the crowd erupted with cheers.
"You did a good job"Tomiwa said from behind me.
I blushed
"Thanks"I said, avoiding eye contact.
"Aren't you going to catch the flower"he asked.
"I have things to do"I said and walked away.
"Get ready for the reception"I told the workers.
"1….2…"
I smiled to myself. The flower throwing ceremony. Harmony stood at the alter looking beautiful as ever. She threw the flower.The ladies stretched their hands trying to catch the flower. I felt a push from behind causing me to loose my balance but before I could fall,a strong hand caught me. I looked up and found a pair of brown eyes staring at me.
"Looks like you caught the flowers after all"he said with his drool-worthy smile.
I looked at my hands. Both our hands were clasped around the bouquet of flowers.
He pulled me up.
"I guess I did"I said and smiled back.
