I screamed at the top of my lungs. I lunged for the door handle but I wasn't fast enough. He grabbed my wrist, sending unnatural sparks up my arm and through my veins. I screamed again begging for someone to help.
My hair was long, down past my shoulders and right about now it really wasn't helping.
"Stop screaming!" He demanded in a knee weakening voice. My hair was frizzy and wild, it covered my eyes hiding his face from my view. He clamped his hand over my mouth before I could scream again.
I couldn't see him because of the hair but I could hear his promise to me, " You scream one more time I will not hesitate to hunt your family down and kill them in the most violent ways possible. You are mine and I will not tolerate your childish behavior."
For a moment I hesitated. I narrowed my eyes even though he couldn't see them, then I bit him. My teeth sunk down deep and hard to the point I could taste his blood. Let me tell you...yuck.
He loosened his hold as I brought my heel down on his toe. Shoving him away with all my strength, I tore out of his arms and sprinted out the bathroom door.
Tears were forming in my eyes as I heard the in human growl vibrate from the bathroom. It was a growl so deep I could feel it in my chest. I picked up speed, my hair finally revealing my face.
Then I was hit by a fucking car.
Well, I won't lie I didn't expect to be hit by a car today. I am as average as average gets, good grades, polite girl, a bitch on occasion and having a loving family with a amazing best friend. I wasn't special in looks either, I had a little extra weight on my sides and spots of acne over my face.
It was a normal day, me walking to the park with a book at my side. Then it all went south as fast as I could slurp down hot chocolate on a cold day.
I was sitting in the grass, my back leaning against the rough bark of the tree. I was reading, the sun caressing my face through the bare fall trees. Then my world grew slightly colder at the feeling of a shadow looming above me.
I bite my tongue looking up I saw him...
Mr. Nutty. He liked to join me from time to time while I read, I know it's stupid but I think he liked it when I read to him. He sat all timid and curious on a branch, he skit down and sat upright, his beady gaze frozen on me. He was just too cute!
I gave him a warm smile, " hey there Mr. Nutty."
His tail twitched and his ears flickered but that was all I was given. "Come for me to read again?" I asked, not expecting a reply.
He began digging in front of me, seemed he was looking for acorns today. His bushy tail twitched and shimmied as he dug, some dry ground dust settled on his nose. I couldn't help but chuckle at this, I can't help it if I'm easily amused.
The moment was brief as Mr. Nutty froze then bolted to his left and up the tree he had come. My eye Brows knitted together, well that's strange of him. All too soon I realized why he had left.
There was another presence in the park, there was a man. I tilted my head to the side. I could only see parts of him, the tree hogging the view of the stranger. From what I could see they wore a black leather jacket and dark wash jeans. He was almost completely hidden but I saw a quick glimpse of night black hair.
I grew uneasy, closing the book slowly I made the mistake of calling out, "Hello?"
I stood up brushing the leaves off my bottom and holding the book tightly to my chest. The reply I was given was a low growl. I tightened my jaw, my eyes locked on the tree.
I tried again, ignoring my instincts to keep my trap shut. "I know your hiding..." I trailed off but was loud enough for him to hear.
Instantly after my trailing, a thunderous growl rippled from behind the tree. A warning.
I gripped the book impossibly tighter, my heart trying to escape out of my chest. My eyes were glued to the tree, looking for any movement from the man but receiving nothing. I almost thought I saw him trembling but I couldn't be sure at this distance.
My voice shaky I announced, " I'll just be leaving then..." And started to walk swiftly toward the parking lot and bathrooms.
An alarmed growl echoed behind me as I started to run. But found myself pinned to the tree I had been reading under. I squealed in shock, the book flying out of my hands. My back stung at the impact of the tree. I blinked repeatedly seeing the vivid, bottle—green eyes of a man. His eyes consumed my vision, I would almost say I was hypnotized. There was something behind his eyes, something that tamed my body and mind
I felt his hands grip my arms tightly at my sides, but not enough to hurt me but only to keep me still. His body was pressed on to mine in a way that sent shivers down my spine.
His eyes disappeared from my vision but his breath tingled on left ear. My breath became hitched not making a single movement as the heat of his body seeped through my lite jacket.
"You are forever mine, " he whispered in a rough, husky promise.
A ball formed into my throat as he pressed his lips to my ear in a kiss. Alarms went off every place he touched. At the feeling of his hand running up my back I jumped back into reality.
