There are many kinds of people around this world we are living along. They just come and go like the air entering our respiratory system and without them, we actually die.
My name is Evie Queen... I'm sixteen and I live in my world alone.
You may think I'm popular, but I'm not. I'm actually a living curse. People from my school usually call me a freak because I let them be and I don't care. As long as they are out of my sight and I've finished doing my missions, I'm more contented with that.
I don't like to be involved with people. I don't want to even communicate with them because for me once they enter your life they're like a bomb going to explode your feelings inside.
I hate drama, and I hate everyone in my school.
You can hate me if you want to.
But I won't hate you...
know why?
Because right now I'm going to tell how my story began. How I ended up locking myself in an empty space and became a villain myself.
I actually came from a prestigeous Family, a family that once became my source of happiness until one day I woke up I was living in the old dusty road of Graven ville, hiding for my safety. It appears that my father Ambrose Queen III, the CEO of Aloician Empire had a terrible lost from our Enemy against the Duke's Corporation.
I was forced to hold back my studies, I was trained to survive until my family served defeat against the business battle between the Queens and the Duke's. I had to change to my personality, I had to learn from scraps and I had to stay away from my friends.
I learned the possibilities of setting aside my wants and tried to search for an answer on how to get back what was once ours that we've lost. I became my father's little side kick even though I'm still trying to figure out my strength. I earned to get myself busy with technologies. Inside my room, I actually designed my own computer accessing every detail I could get from my dad.
Yes, I have a secret to tell you, I actually work as a Hacker.
And that is why I don't like being with other people rather than being with my computer.
I have a mission that I need to secure, I deal with different people everyday and I know my family and I are still not safe because...
I just entered the dangerous zone in my life by messing with the strongest family here in Gravenville....
The Duke's
I didn't enter Campus Ridge for a ridiculous reason of being just a spy. I entered Campus Ridge because I have one specific person to find. I heard the son of the Late Duke Senior was attending the school and it happens that I was reqruited here to be an inside agent. I took the oppurtunity to be a scholar and had to pretend that I'm living freak just for me to easily find him.
However, days have passed and I haven't heard anything about him. I've been torturing myself for a week trying to figure out his class but it was all empty.
I remember the deal that Harris and I made before I entered Campus Ridge...
*FLASHBACK*
I had a small fight in class. It was a terrible one since I left a huge mark across my female classmate's face. I was later sent to the principal's office and unfortunately got expelled.
So I'm now free to do whatever I want, and that is to run away.
As I'm about to exit the school, a luxurious car stopped in my exact spot. And when its window rolled down, I saw a very familiar face that invited me in.
At first, I was getting suspicious though when I saw one tiny detail that gained my trust.
It was that red mark that symbolize 'HIGH AUTHORITY' in every gangster's rank.
"Hello, Evie. It's nice to see you again."
"Harris Preston." I called his name.
"Come, I'll take you to lunch and discuss an important matter there." He said.
Of course, who am I to decline?
IN THE RESTAURANT
"So how is school going?" Harris asked me while I was busy eating my steak.
I shrugged my shoulders.
"I got expelled." I confidently said when he sat quietly.
I thought he was going to laugh at me though, cause in every gangster that's an amateur role everyone gets to experience.
"I see, so I guess it wouldn't be hard for me to pursue you." He said and somehow I got interested.
"What is it that you want now? Do you have someone for me to knockdown?" I asked.
"No,"
"Actually, I wanted to train you." He answered.
"Train me? Am I not the weakiest gangster you have?"
"You are, but I want you to be the best."
I stopped eating when he said that.
Okay, is he humiliating me now? Cause I can show him he's wrong..
"Get to the point, spill." I said putting down my spoon and fork.
"I want you to enter the Campus Ridge."
"You mean the school for gangsters?"
"The school for gangsters who would like to have a better future while serving the VIPs, not only that after you graduate, you will get a permanent job and wealth as an assassin, agent or spy depending on your Rank." Harris elaborated.
"Why me?" I questioned him.
"Because I see the potential in you and I heard the Duke's son is studying there, so are you willing or not?"
I took a deep breath to create a decision. This is huge and a wonderful opportunity, a school that fits my life? And the most important thing, the son of later Senior Duke. This will be great and exciting.
"So when do we leave?" I asked Harris.
"Now," He answered.
"But what about my things?!" I began to panic because I didn't like the idea of going back home to get my things. I really want to leave now!
"Don't worry, everything is provided there Evie." He smiled.
Game on.
