THE POND

Alissa woke up at 3:00 am so they can move to their new home that someone was giving away for free. Alissas sister Margret got into the car and buckled up. A few hours later they arrived the home looked nice and it was 5 story's high. Alissa went to look around at their new home when she noticed a large pond covered up by trees. Alissa is super curious and wanders over to the pond somthing did not seem right about this Pond it was off but how? Alissa just ignored it and walked inside it was a fancy home with a indoor pool and an arcade. Alissa put her stuff in her room and layed down. The next day she woke up and looked out the window to see her sister looking at the pond. Her sister never woke up this early before but, she must of just been exited. Alissa went outside with her sister and asked "why are you out here?". "Somthing about this pond I like but, I don't know what" Margret responded. Every morning since that Margret stood out watching that pond in the mornings. The summer heat beamed down on everyone there. A strange smell started to come from the pond, it smelt like a bunch of rotting eggs were in the pond. Marget was out there once again staring at it so, Alissa went to find out that smell. Margret started laughing randomly when Alissa walked up there. "Whats so funny?" Alissa said looking at Margret. "Oh Look see that" Margret giggled. There was a dead fish floating on top of the water as it was being eaten by another fish. "Ok...." Alissa said while she was backing up. The smell got worse throughout time and nobody knew what it was. Alissa decided to try and catch a fish so she grabbed a rod and went out to the pond. She got hung on somthing so she pulled it in. Alissa screamed and her parents came running to find out what's wrong. Alissa pointed to the object that she reeled in, a human hand. Alissa's parents called the cops to investigate but, they did not find anything about it except the fact it came from a missing girl named gabby. Alissa did not even want to have anything to do with the pond but, Margret was still going out there every morning. Did the last people that were there kidnap someone? Alissa did not even want to think about that possibility at all. Alissa always had the thought in her mind what would happen if one of them is the next victim of this. Will they have to rest in pieces?
