"Storm Callaway?" The supply teacher called.
"Jennifer, please." I asked nicely and she responded with a smile.
"Jay is having a party tonight. Are you coming? Cameron will be there." Miranda winked. Ah, Cameron Newman. All star hockey player; I have been in love with him since I was in grade nine and he was in grade eleven.
I couldn't help but smile.
"Okay fine." I said and she clapped happily.
My real name is Storm Jennifer Callaway, however I go by Jennifer. My father was The Mark Callaway, he invented a whitening toothpaste and since then his company has made many other successful hygiene products. My mother divorced him two years ago because she said he was too infatuated with his work. So instead she moved back to Canada where we are originally from. My mother is aboriginal. She believed in spirituality and the night I was born a severe thunderstorm had hit Toronto and the umbilical cord was wrapped around my neck. Doctors thought I wasn't going to make it but I pulled through. My mother said it was the sky Gods giving me their strength through the most powerful thunder storm, so she named me Storm."———————
"There she is; Jenny you remember Cameron Newman, right?" Miranda asked I turned to face blond hair blue eyed Cameron. He smirked at me and took a drink as I stood stunned.
"Uh...yea...hi." I said stuttering.
"You look really good, Jen. " He said glancing down my body. I blushed and tried to cover myself up and he moved my hand away and ran his hand along the curve of my waist.
I felt his hand on the waist band of my jeans and soon I felt the button get undone and the zipper was pushed down. I felt sick and pushed him away. I did up my pants and wiped my mouth.
"It's disgusting." I said stomping inside and went to Miranda who stared at me in surprise.
"What happened?" She asked and I shook my head.
"I am going home." I didn't allow her to respond as I was already out the door.
Once I walked out, a car followed and then stopped in front of me. Assuming it was Cameron I rolled my eyes. I turned and a man in an all black suit and a mask jumped out placing a white cloth over my mouth. I screamed kicking my legs but soon felt a wave of dizziness wash over me and I fell unconscious.
—
When I finally came around I blinked rapidly and saw that we were driving in a fancy car.
"Why do you kidnap me!?" I yelled frantically.
"You are not being kidnapped." Another one said from the front seat.
"Really? Because I am tied up, I was drugged and now we are driving away from my home and mind you I have no seat belt on this is so unsafe!" I said.
"Blake won't like her." The man in the back seat said.
"Who is Blake?" I asked.
"Your new owner." The one driving said,
"Owner? Am I slave!? I would make a terrible slave! I talk too much and I am too sarcastic." I said and the one from the passenger seat reached behind with a magnum and aimed it at my head.
"One more word without permission and I make a mess of your pretty little face." He said. I only saw his cold grey eyes but I shook from fear as I stared at the barrel.
We continued driving in silence until we reached our stop and I was pulled from the car. We entered the building. I was pushed into the room and the three men took off their black masks. They were all handsome however I noticed the one with the grey eyes the most. His face was clean shaven and his jaw was so sharp it could cut people. He looked me up and down with a grin on his face.
"Is this miss Callaway?"
A man asked. I turned to see a blonde man sitting behind a desk. He was older than the three with me and he had an expensive Italian suit on.
"Please, my father is really rich, he can get you anything you want. Please just let me go."
"I know who your father is Miss Callaway; the issue is that we have asked your father numerous times to pay up and he hasn't."
"Pay up? Pay for what?" I asked.
"Your mother? Lovely young lady. When your parents divorced your father wanted your mother practically erased from the records."We erased any accounts of them ever being married or divorced or having children and we sent her back to her reserve; we did your father a huge favour. Lots of money went into that and time...and effort and what did he give us? Nothing. Security watches his work so we take you as a loan."
"A loan? Why not his new wife!? If he is not at work then he is spending time with her." I begged.
"Don't cry, beautiful. We know everything about you to make it easier. expect one thing that we don't know is your real name...your father had that erased and I know it is not Jennifer....So what is it Jennifer?" He asked saying the last part in my ear.
"That is none of your business." I said lowly.
"Oh it is." He said pulling out the same magnum gun.
"Tell me, please. I want to know about you." He asked nicely. I noticed there were 'A' and 'R' on his gun.
"Storm. My real name is Storm but I go by Jennifer." I said my heart beating fast.
"Storm?" He asked putting away his gun. I sighed in relief.
"My name is Blake, Storm." He said and I nodded.
He asked and the man with the sharp jaw stepped forward.
"Steele, Take Storm to go get cleaned up and changed please." He said and 'Steele' led me out of the room.
"Come on doll face." He winked and I couldn't help but feel my face heat up.
"You know what, if daddy never dumped your mother none of this would have happened." He said and I felt anger begin to bubble in my chest. One thing I hated was people talking about my family.
"You have no idea what was going on." I snapped and he stopped abruptly and I bumped into his shoulder. He didn't move and he looked back at me.
"Talk to me like that again, Storm...I dare you." He said threateningly.
