Introdução

Eloise Lowe's ex-boyfriend cheated on her with her best friend. But this seemed not to be dramatic enough. Later, she was drugged. To avoid the people coming after her, she randomly climbed onto a stranger's ward bed. The drug took effect and without any other choices, she repaid the stranger's kindness with her own body. Well, at least she recovered from the drug... she was good at adjusting her mood. She thought that was all she had to do with that stranger, but surprisingly, the stranger came to the Lowe family to propose the marriage... "Let's have a baby together!" "Hey! Don't forget this is a fake marriage!"

Chapter 1

"Please help me..." In a hospital VIP ward, Eloise Lowe stood in front of the hospital bed, begging the man before her, her face flushed.

The man frowned slightly, expression cold.

A loud female voice rang from outside the ward. "Search every inch of this place until you find her! She's already drugged. She can't make it too far..."

Then the sound of knocking came from the door.

Bang, bang, bang!

It sounded like thunderclaps falling on the wood.

She knew this man was her last chance. Eloise quickly lifted the bed quilt and climbed beneath the covers, diving into the man's arms and saying in a trembling voice, "Please, sir. I... I'll make it up to you."

Bang!

The ward door was kicked open. Two burly men stomped in.

Eloise leaned into the stranger's arms, not daring to move.

This man had not said a word from the start, so she still wasn't sure if he would help her.

"Hey, did you see a woman come in just now?" One of the men glanced at the hospital bed. Seeing how bulked up it was made him suspicious. Someone must be hiding underneath.

"What woman?" Denzel Hinton frowned. Meanwhile, he was grumbling internally about how awkwardly the woman was stuck against him...

"You better not be lying, man! Or else-"

"The only other person in this room is my woman." Denzel looked calm as his hand lazily touched Eloise's head. He said in a languid voice, "Go on, baby. Ignore them."

Eloise was furious. What was the meaning of this? Was he taking advantage of her situation?

Her fury increased when the man's hand slipped down further.

She didn't dare provoke him, but she could still move away from his touch, so she gently shuffled to the foot of the bed.

The two men stared at the scene in shock. There really was someone underneath the covers!

Denzel's lips curled into an evil smile. He decided to teach the woman a lesson after being so inappropriate against his body.

"Ah, ow-" The sharp pinch on her side made her squeak in pain.

He really wasn't standing on ceremony!

The two men couldn't see through the quilt, but from the current situation and the sound from just now, they could guess what was happening.

They quickly looked at each other, sneaky smiles appearing on their faces.

"Why are you still here?" Denzel's eyes narrowed.

"Alright, alright. We won't disturb you anymore. Pretend like we weren't here!" One of the men said as they left the ward.

Eloise pricked up her ears. The moment she heard the door close, she flipped over the quilt like someone had lighted a firecracker behind her.

Pervert!

Eloise had promised to make it up to him, but he ended up taking advantage her. What a jerk!

When she looked up, she met the man's gaze.

She couldn't find a suitable adjective to describe him right now, but basically he gave off a white knight vibe, yet at the same time a kind of sly feel. He was pretty good-looking.

He was smiling right now.

Eloise's cusses were swallowed back into her stomach.

He had saved her, and she... had let him cop a feel. That was sort of... even.

With an inward groan, Eloise decided not to pursue this matter with the man, given that he was an inpatient.

"I'm... gonna go now..." She moved away from him. When she lowered her head, she found herself sitting on his lap. Her face felt as hot as an oven.

Just as she was about to leave, the man's cold voice rang out. "What makes you think you can leave my bed so easily?"
