Third Person Pov; "Another day of being like this." Jennie said as she woke up, she stand up and went to her bath room with no excitement to be found in her emotion. As soon as she finished fixing herself and dressed up, she went to her balcony and smell the fresh air from the outside. "Goodmorning your highness." The maids greeted her from below. She responded with a sweet smile and wave at them. "My dear daughter, what a lovely young princess." Her mother suddenly entered her room "Tomorrow we will be having a masquerade ball, and Prince Kai the son of King Alfonso is gonna be there." Her voice is full of excitement. Meanwhile, Jennie doesnt like the Idea of meeting the Prince. "How does it feel to be a commoner?" Jennie sighed and wonder. Jennie went downstairs and as she walk through the garden, she overheard their maids conversation. "I heard some commoners will be attending tomorrow's ball, King and Queen Sandoval agreed to let them in." "Oww, how kind of them for letting the commoners like us join the ball—" the maid cut her words as she saw Princess Jennie. "Your highness." They bowed "We apologize for having a conversation during work hours." The other maid said. Jennie just gave them a sweet smile and said "Its okey, perhaps im just a princess and I dont give the orders. Besides there is no problem of having a conversation, right? So dont mind it." The maids smile "Truly your heart is as kind as the angels." Jennie just smile sweetly and continue walking.
At the commoners aera
"Hey!" Lisa faced the one who calls her "What?" She ask, "Ahmm, wanna join the masquerade ball tomorrow night?" The girl ask her. "Im not interested, im a commoner— we are a commoner. We dont fit in there and the royal guards might not let us enter the castle." Lisa uttered " Are you done talking?" The girl said while crossed arm "what now Rose?" Lisa rolled her eyes on her "The King and Queen agreed that the commoners can join the ball, and besides Princess Jennie is their, dont you wanna see her?" Lisa thought that she is right "Ok, i'll go." Lisa said then walk away. "Hey Lisa! I heard Prince Kai will be there at the ball, he's your childhood bestfriend right?" Lisa stared at the sky, "That was before, we got separated and I dont wanna talk about him anymore." She said with a serious tone. "Lisa?" "Hmm?" "Dont you miss your parents?" Rose ask her "I do miss them a lot, but I needed to work. I'll come back at the right time." Lisa seriously said.
MASQUERADE NIGHT
"Your highness? Your ball gown is ready." The maids said and help her wear the gown. "Is there a lot of people downstairs?" Jennie ask "Yes your highness, and they're waiting for you." Jennie showed a fake smile, as if she's not happy nor excited with the event tonight.
Jennie's Pov; How I wish Im just a commoner, that could live freely. Tonight might be the right time to explore other world, but how can I escape this castle without being caught or being guarded by the royal guards? Jeez! I hate being royal now, its too uncomfortable for me and the worst is that I always spent my time at the castle. No friends to talk to, only maids. How boring is it being here. "Your highness?" There she goes again with that highness thing, I always told me to call me Jennie but they never listen. "Time to go downstairs." She added, and then I followed her. As soon as I reached the stairs and slowly walk down, I saw the spotlight is on me and a lot of them are staring at me. Then there goes the king waiting for me down there, and carefully hand over his hand to reach mine. "You're always as lovely as usual my dear Princess." He said with a smile on his face. "Thankyou Dad." I responded. We walk until we reach to the center aisle, "Lets welcome the young Princess of Ellesmere, Princess Jennie Kim Sandoval of Ellesmere." I heard the courtier speak and all of them bowed at me and I hate it. Seriously? Why would they bowed at me? I know im a princess but im still like them, a person, a human, I have heart and they also had one. Jeez! I hate being royal. As the event continue, I wander around the castle and meeting some commoners cause I've heard they were invited also. As I wander around, I saw someone that caught my attention. A girl who wears a nice black mask and a tuxedo? Wow just wow, I've never seen a girl like that before. Because of amazement, I cam closer to her and approache her. "Hi." I smiled. "Oww your highness." They bow again, jeez! I can see the shocked on their face, "Whats with the expression?" I ask sweetly. "Oww well your highness, we just didnt thought that you will gonna approache us hihi." The other girl wearing a gown said, then the girl who wears tuxedo seems to be silent. "Nice tux, why tux?" I ask. "Ow this, I dont wanna wear gowns. It sucks, then thankfully the guards let me in." She said and smile. I was about to talk again but someone suddenly came "Princess?" I faced the guy and crossed my arm "May I take you to a dance?" I dont want him to feel neglected and besides he look like a Prince, so he held my hand and took me to the center for a dance.
Lisa's Pov; "Why are you wearing tux? Arent you supposed to be wearing gown because you're a girl?" Rose said "I dont wanna wear gowns anymore." I said calmly "Do you think the royal guards will let you in with that informal attire you're wearing?" She said with cross arm "Yes they would and they should." I said and smirk "You're creepy, move fast and lets go." As we walk through the castle, the royal guards ask for the invitation card. Rose gave her the invitation but then the guard ask what im wearing, "Im Lisa Jade Viejo and I can wear whatever I want to wear." I said fiercely and walk inside the castle. "Whoah Lisa, the royal guard couldnt say anything. You're powerful HHAHAHA." Later on, the event started and the King and Queen are at the center. For a minute, Princess Jennie came down and the spotlight is on her. "She's trully stunning." Rose whispered, she really is. "Lets welcome the young Princess of Ellesmere, Princess Jennie Kim Sandoval of Ellesmere." We all bowed at her, we get a long with our fellow commoners but then suddenly someone approached us. "Hi.". She said with a smile, is this for real? Does she didnt know that we're commoners? "Whats with the expression?" She ask sweetly "Oww well your highness, we just didnt thought that you will gonna approache us hihi." Rose said, while me I couldnt say a thing "Nice tux, why tux?" She said and I couldnt help not to feel ashame but no im Lisa Jade Viejo and Im confident with anything. "Ow this, I dont wanna wear gowns. It sucks, then thankfully the guards let me in." I responded with a smile and then she also smiled back. "Princess?" Here goes this superhero, selfish lil' asshole, tss ssob! I couldnt help not to feel anger when I saw Kai or should I say Prince Kai, tss! I saw them sweetly dancing at the center and I hate it, time flies and I was about to go home when someone grab me. "I need your help please." She begged "what do you want?" I asked her. "Help me to escape the palace." I was shock of that what she said but then I help her out, I let her change her dress and swap to mine. She's now wearing a tux and the mask im wearing, all I know is that the guards wouldnt know it was her. We went out together with the bunch of commoners and we successfully escaped.
