At New York City, during spring time. It was a cold night then, a petite florist figure was closing her flower shop , few steps to the bus stop. She sat herself down, waiting patiently for the bus to come into view.
The street light was illuminating the bus stop. Julia watch the busy New York City, couples walking side by side, the coming and going of busy vehicles, display of sales of show before her. She keep sighing how the turn around of her family makes a sour experience for her.
The Woods family was a rich and blissful family with no problem. Julia was the only child of her family. Loved by her mother and father. She was showered with both love and attention.
Until one day she'll never forget. That fateful day her father brought home a slut looking young woman as the second wife . But Mrs Cella wood wasn't divorce, she was after all the first wife

The bus horn jolt Julia out of her thoughts. Enter the bus and sit
Few minutes later, Julia drop off at Mitch engel street, sauntering toward the small looking apartment, press the door bell and wait. Cella open the small door " oh Julia, you are back" she steps aside for her to come in.
" Yeah" Julia walks in, slump on the floor
"How's work?" Cella ask her daughter.
" Hectic as usual, mom" turn to her mother " Mrs Cella wood what do we have in for dinner?"
" The usual"
Julia has a bad expression written on her face." Bread and jam again?" She almost yell with her tiny voice.
Cella sigh as she rose on her feet . " I didn't get much customer today"
" You didn't?... As in no perming or Washiing of hair today?"
" Just perming"
" Mom, this is tiring" she stand in a fit of rage and irritation "mom... Think about it...think about becoming the first wife to dad, even if he had another wife , he still give you chance of being his first wife you can't say you have pride when we keep eating bread and jam... The last time I visited him at Mexico, I had chicken and fried rice for breakfast... Lunch was it...." She interrupt by her mother's hit on shoulder.
" Julia" she half yell.
" What?? I'm saying the truth and I'm tired of all these look at how skinny I am"
" Mom... Is trying" Cella said almost in a whisper
" Mom stop trying and toss away that pride of yours"
" Never" she said sharply with hints of finality in it
" Then, I'm leaving. I'm going back to Mexico cause I'm tired of all this"
" What?? You are going back to Jonathan"
" Yes" she answered firmly.
" Why ? You promised me , you promised to stay with me Julia" Tear prickled on her eye lid
" Why is my heart aching right now, Julia"
" Mom am sorry, please don't think of me as a heart less daughter leaving own mother to loneliness and I am not a coward"
" You are nothing but a coward" The tear finally stream down her cheekbone
" Are you calling him or not?"Julia ask her mother
" My answer will always be the same" stated. She clean her tears with the back of her palm " I have pride"
" By next week, I will be leaving for Mexico. Goodnight Mom" she said and head to her room without taking a second glance at her mother.
