"Jane, sign the paper quickly!"
"I won't sign, I'd rather die than sign this agreement!"
Jane Whyte covered her faintly aching stomach, resisting in shock and anger. Who would've thought, that her father had just passed away, and her stepmother and fiancé were forcing her to sign over her shares in the Whyte Corporation.
This vile pair had been involved with each other even before her father's death, causing it, and now they were trying to seize the Whyte's property!
She absolutely couldn't bear it. "If you want me to sign, you'll have to wait till I'm dead!"
Due to her agitated state, her stomach suddenly started hurting violently. "It hurts, ah..."
She couldn't even stand and knelt down directly.
Seeing this, Drake Cane was frightened and stepped back several paces.
Lynda Bells, behind him, urged impatiently, "Why are you delaying? Hurry and make her sign!"
Drake pursed his lips, turned and said, "But, it seems like she might give birth soon, should we take her to the hospital first?"
Lynda's face dropped instantly, she cursed in disgust, "Going soft now? Don't forget, the bastard child she's carrying in her stomach is an illegitimate one!"
Hearing this, Drake turned back around and said harshly, "Hurry up and sign! Once you sign, I'll immediately take you to the hospital, or else die here in pain, along with the bastard child in your womb!"
Lynda added disdainfully, "Yes, even if you die, we still have ways to get hold of the Whyte Corporation's shares!"
With that said, Lynda wrapped her arm around Drake, placing her face intimately on his shoulder.
Jane shook her head in pain, unable to believe the situation unfolding before her. "I will not sign it, just give up..."
Before she could say anything else, Lynda kicked her and said, "You wretch!"
While kicking, she shouted, "If you don't sign, we'll beat you until you do!"
Drake quickly followed by landing a kick onto her stomach, and cursed harshly, "That's what you get for refusing to drink the toast!"
Jane felt a sharp pain in her stomach after those two kicks, a pain so intense that she almost passed out.
She clutched her stomach, crying and shouting, "Ah... don't harm my child!"
She was already showing signs of premature labour, and the two kicks had only made the pain more acute. An alarming amount of blood gushed out from below, shocking anyone who saw it.
Yet this despicable pair became even more merciless! They seemed intent on hurting her!
"If you don't sign, just die!" Lynda screamed at the top of her lungs.
"No!" Jane shouted back. "Ah, my child!"

Jane opens her charming eyes. The scene in front of her seems to be the nightmare that haunted her for four years.
However, a soft reminder from a flight attendant echoes above her head: "We've arrived at the Los Angeles International Airport, all passengers please prepare to disembark."
Four years on, she couldn’t believe she was back in the city that once caused her despair and hatred. Those who had caused her unbearable pain, she won't let them off!
Only, she has returned under a new identity. Bestselling author - Sparkle Stars!
She puts on her sunglasses, picks up her luggage, and disembarks from the airplane.
As soon as she steps off the plane, she receives a call. The call is from her assistant: "Sparkle, have you arrived in the Imperial Capital?"
With a smile, Jane responds: "Just got here. Everything is set for the book signing incident tomorrow, right?"
Her assistant, Annie, promptly replies: "Yes, the signing event is held at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. It is scheduled for three o'clock in the afternoon tomorrow. I will contact you then!"
While pushing her luggage, Jane replies: "Alright, I got it."
Just as her voice had trailed off, a childish voice sounded off right in front of her.
"Ahh! Ugh…"
Jane's hand, pushing her suitcase, stiffened suddenly. Glancing down, she saw a little boy, around four years old, tumbled down in front of her suitcase.
Her heart gave a start, and she hastily squatted down and asked with concern: "Sweetie, did you get hurt anywhere?"
The little boy raised his soft, supple round face, a pair of large, glossy eyes blinking innocently, his tiny but straight nose giving way to an adorable, rosy lips puckered ever so slightly. He was beautiful and cute. He resembled a mini model straight out of a magazine.
