My son was summoned to a parent-teacher meeting, and the homeroom teacher happened to be my ex-boyfriend.
He adjusted his glasses, "Your nephew?"
I took a sip of tea, "My son."
"Callie, you are 23 years old, and your son is 17 years old. Do you think I'm a fool?"
I hardly managed a smile, "My husband is 53 years old. What is the problem with him having a 17-year-old son?"
“How did you become so vain?"
"Mr. Ford, do you still have feelings for me?"
He suppressed his anger and impatiently slapped the desk, his face as dark as the bottom of a pot. "Get out!"
Oh, he was furious.
After graduating from university, I was heartbroken and unemployed.
