Introdução

Waking up after a long time of slumber, little Cara looked around without a clue of her surrounding. All she could hear was the beeping sound annoying her ears. She looked around weakly, a lot of thoughts going on in her head. She closed her eyes shut trying to remember some certain things about her life. Her heart immediately skipped as she remembered a face. A very scary face. The face who actually murdered her parents.

Chapter 1

"What have we done, John? What have we done?" She sobbed loudly looking at her four years old daughter lying on her bed.

John sighed. "This is not the time for crying, Celeste."

"What if, John? What if they send Gor..?"

"They won't. He kills everything he touches. They won't risk it."

"We've made things hard for them. They might get desperate, John. I'm scared. He's the one person even you can't fight."

John sighed. "This isn't the time to be pessimistic."

She nodded, and looked at her daughter. "We shouldn't have brought a child to this world, John. We shouldn't have. How are we gonna keep protecting ourselves, and our child? Where are we gonna go to now? How long are we gonna keep hiding?" She kept on with her sobs getting aloud. "I don't want anything to happen to our daugh...."

An earthquake shut her up, and made them both widen their eyes in horror.

"Something coming. Something's coming! Run! Hide!" John yelled at his wife.

She nodded still shook in fear, and ran to carry their daughter on the bed. She turned to her husband.

"Wh...what are you gonna do?"

"Just run, Celeste! Save yourself! I'll follow."

Her face contorted in cry, while John looked around wide-eyed waiting for the entity.

The ground rumbled, causing Celeste to trip with a loud yelp, and a cry coming from their daughter.

"Mommy, what's going on?" Their daughter began crying.

"You guys go!" John yelled at them.

Celeste nodded, and picked up her daughter.

"Mommy." Their daughter called, her eyes fixated on the ceiling. "What's that?"

Celeste looked up, and her eyes widened.

"Johhhnnnn." She screamed on the top of her lungs.

John immediately looked at them, and looked up.

"Oh my God!"

The ceiling was melting apart as a big fire monster was trying to emerge into it.

"Celeste leave that place." John warned her, but she couldn't. She felt as if she was gummed to the ground.

"Celeste!" John yelled at her.

"You were warned, West. You were warned."

Their daughter brows furrowed seeing as the monster talked.

"Mommy. Mommy." She kept disturbing since she wasn't liking what she was seeing.

"Celeste." John said softly, and worriedly knowing there was a reason why she was kept stone-still.

Celeste looked at John, her eyes watery, and her face contorted.

The monster fell to the ground, melting everything it touches. "Where is it?"

Celeste couldn't move. "Don't face my wife, Gordon. Face me instead!" John yelled at him.

"Hmm." Gordon growled, and turned to look at John.

"You're a very stubborn man, West. And that stubbornness will be your end."

"John!" Celeste called him, but the monster wrapped his huge scary hand around her neck making her yelp, and choke in pain..

"Nooooo!" John exclaimed aloud.

"Mommy!" Their daughter cried aloud, as she saw her mom's head melt away from her body, and fell to the ground.

Gordon dropped her dripping head on the ground.

"Celeste!" John cried seeing her dead body.

"You know you can't beat me, West. You called this upon yourself. Now where is it?" Gordon growled.

"Where is it, or this...this human you call child will be the next."

John shook his head with a worried face, as he looked at his daughter crying for her mommy to wake up.

"Where?" Gordon growled.

But out of anger, John's daughter stood up to try, and beat the monster that killed her mother. She didn't know what was happening, but she knew her mom won't wake up again.

"You..."

Gordon noticed it..

"Ca..."

Gordon immediately hit the little girl on the arm making her wince, and flew her off the room to the wall. The huge impact to the wall, and on the ground brought a huge yelp from her, and then blank out.

"No. No." John said shaking his head.

"I can smell it, West. That's the foul stench of death." Gordon said, and looked at John whose chest rose up, and down in rapid breaths.

"You know there's nothing you can do about me, West. You made them had no choice, but to assign me to get it. So, where is it?"

John flew at him. "Arghhhhhh."

"West." Gordon said in a fake sad tone knowing West grave has been dugged.

John knew his fate, and he had nothing to live for, so instead he'd rather die, than to let them get it.

Gordon caught him on the head. "Why die, West? Why die?"

"They'll...reg..regre....regret...se...sending...y..you..Go..rdon." John choked, til his head cut off from his body.

Gordon dropped his head on the ground, and looked at the dead family. "Hmm." He breathed out smoke.

"Dead or not, I'll find it." He said, and melted away.
