Loki's POV
3 years ago has been passed..
I almost forget everything about my traumatic past. Soon enough, I looked at my mobile phone and remembered ,it my day off today from an exhausting part-time job. I stood up as if my posture was showing a bit sluggish and yawning. I raised both my hands widened, looked up at the window, and blinked furiously, seeing a blue sky, as well as the warm air passing through my short purple hair, my small face, and spoke promptly on the air. " how refreshing it was ".
I just went back to my thoughts and walked enthusiastically into the bathroom. Carrying a towel, and casual clothes then turned around, looking forward to the mirror, smiling happily, as if the worst past was gone. After I took a bath, I wiped every strand of my hair from down, and up. Then, put on my casual clothes and shoes. Also, slowly combs my short hair into backward, left, and right. Later on, I went to the door where I was ready to go out. So, I could enjoy my day without being bothersome.
In a few moments, I left the house and took a walk in Tokyo city. Consequently, you will see different people such as partners, families, and employees. However, the air pollution of Tokyo city was very pleasant to feel while walking. So, I leisurely raised my arms, and blink hardly. But in a few moments by awakening my eyes, I felt a strong hit on someone by lowering my arms. Then, I just looked back and lowered my gaze, where you can see a man with messy light brown hair wearing a white polo, black pants, and black shoes. He can be seen in his slouchy posture while slowly picking all papers on the ground. I was just shocked, and sweat, even had a tinge of guilt, whether I would help him or not. I just sighed, and go to where he is picking all the files. I apologized as I bent down and lowered my knees without hesitation if my pants got dusty from kneeling on the floor. I just helped him pick up all the papers while I immediately closed my eyes and apologized for what happened but gradually, I opened my eyes, and held one of the papers with my two hands. I abruptly saw a few letters name of a man "N, A, and O". It is shown, Nao is listed on the certificate who won a game infamous Dark PVP. I stopped and stared at the paper. Just barely looked at the man in front of me, who was busy picking up some papers. I just looked over and over at the paper, and him while shivering, and smiling tearfully.
"NAOOOOOOOO" I shouted while smiling tearfully
he lifted his head and gave a glimpse at me, it's visible his eyes were tired, and suddenly curved his lips upward a bit.
"hey," he said with his soft voice as he raised his hand a little as a greetings.
I was just stunned when he spoke and immediately handed the paper to him "I'm sorry if I hit you by accident" while I smiled awkwardly and apologized.
"We didn't meet for one year when I transferred from another University ..." and I added a few words "So, do you have free time now? since we just met again I want us to be able to bond on my day off today, if it's alright? "I said sarcastically as I grinned my teeth with a bit of excitement since I'm happy seeing him again at an unexpected time.
"okay" Nao said directly as an approved response to my question. It can be seen from his words that he is honest and his timid personality has not changed since we were in junior high school. If I recall our memories when we first met he was sleeping soundly while his hair was dangled in the gust of wind near the window while I was humming in the classroom which was very quiet and no one was left but only the two of us, and I can feel the nice air inside from outside of the classroom, I can also see some houses big and small. Moreover in the distance, there are looked like buildings that are very tall reaching 10floors and 16floors. I only could is sat and continued to sketch what I saw.
I was amazed at how he slept in the classroom even during and after class. I just looked at him straight and I didn’t know how to remind this guy to say our class was over. So, I just decided to draw him in his deep sleep. I started drawing in my notebook, from the straight vertical line and circular shape pointed for his face and drew some parts of his body. Then I carefully traced some of his figures with my black ballpen which could see the detailed his sleepy face, the hair hit by the sunlight and the winds blowing on him.
I smiled and chuckled as I measured his figure with my index finger from my distance. "Just wait a minute and I'll be close to finishing my drawing for you - I'm sure you'll be surprised by my beautiful drawing when you wake up" I continued drawing that I was excited to finish. I added highlights to his head where it is seen a rambled light brown hair with the light rays of sun stroke on him “Perfect” as I said proudly and compared my drawing to his real figure.
His aura was very calm while sleeping. I couldn’t help myself but look at him because of the attention he was giving a very smooth sound to our empty classroom. After a while, I approached the chair near his place and swing my hand on his head, if he would wake up from my bothering touch but he didn't feel anything else ,so I just put my drawing which includes text on paper and placed on top of his deck. "sleep well and I'll leaving" I said in a calm voice and slowly walked towards the classroom door and left him asleep. Before I could leave or open the sliding door I heard a voice from a man who was sleeping, wiping his handkerchief over his eyes and face. He arranged his hair side by side as if he looked like a baby-waking up from a daze. He opens broadened his mouth, yawned for a moment, and spoke with a calm voice "hey" while looking at me very seriously. "Hey" he called me again I just stopped near the door and He shouted "hey" again and I came back to my conscious which I pause from thinking about the past of our first met because of his tight grip on my arm. I would have been pretty near on the road if Nao hadn’t stopped me. "Are you going to kill yourself? You've been unconscious while we were walking ..." he said with concern on his face.
I chuckled "Ahh HAHAHA ..I'm sorry .. I just remembered the important memory from my past" while I smiled awkwardly at him
"Are you okay? Maybe you're sick" he said as he tilted his face while looking at me
"no, I'm fine" while shocked at his face approached closely. "All alrighty then" he just smiled a little while his hand was still gripped on my arms. I just stopped remembering Nao's face that I can see how cute he looks while sleeping. Since, I’m already here and we've seen each other unexpectedly time, I want to know what’s going in his life while I’m gone. I offered him by poking his shoulder "would you like to drink coffee or hot chocolate on Starry bucks?" and I added few words "don't worry, it's my treat" smiling widely and winks at him. He refused my offer as we walked into the Starry bucks. "I'd rather pay for you a drink than you'll pay for me" He spoke softly with no emotion while he was paying the order the two of us to female wearing a neat barista uniform at the counter.
I just nodded and said excitedly "Next time, I'll treat you a coffee as a Thanksgiving" but he immediately refused "no need" as his hand was wrapped around his arm and he tapped his foot as if he wanted to say something that he was not prepared or he was waiting for our order to be given as quick.
After waiting a few minutes, his order coffee and mine is hot choco with icing on top arrived Since, I'm not fond of coffee drinks and if I drink it, maybe I will be more pressure because of a bitter taste. Back to my consciousness, and I simply pointing my finger to the park by saying to him if he wanna go there and sit while here is a bunch of people.
He just nodded and holds his arms by walking fast in the exit door of Starry bucks. "Pew" As I sighed, placing my hand on my chest and smiled at him "wanna go to the park, I hated here inside. it's kinda crowd besides I liked relaxing at the park." winked my eyes on him and gives a cheerful smile while him, still the same as earlier, showing no emotion but calm personality.
And I thought," maybe he is a busy person, and that's the reason why he is showing a not active personality"
We walked forward through the park and find a vacant bench, I sat down first and leaning my back as I felt exhausted, he also sat very calmly while watching a fountain in the park which still keep running a water and kids both playing badminton lively. After a few minutes, he just calmly lifts his shoulder to drink his coffee.
I placed my hand on the slide of the bench and slowly drinking my hot chocolate drink while keep staring at him and the beauty of the park, I keep having a random what was he thinking so I started talking to stop the silence and at the same time I feel akward too. "The park looks awesome right, Nao? and kids are looking enjoying together when playing badminton. I wish we could play too when we meet early as kids." looking at the skies, fountain, and the kids lively hitting a ball at each other, seems like they are not a beginner, but intermediate players, I guess those kids are practicing their badminton tournament." Yeah, it looks nice. I wonder how would you look like when you were a kid but I am just a gamer kid on that age." he said.
So how're you doing now for the whole time? " I stared at his face and chuckled
" hmm I'm addicted "
" with what? " I asked
" Dark PVP" he plays his fingers over the sides of coffee.
"I thought he is addicted from something rude" as I thought randomly in my mind
"hmm.. I wish I could play that too but I'm not a good player" awkwardly smiled and chuckled.
"I think, you have new drawings, right?" he asked while his eyes straight oo me so calmly.
"oh yes! I'm improving now, maybe one day I will fulfill my dream and put you as my gamer character hahaha" as I tease him and showing my portfolio of artworks.
"look, it was all my characters and this is mine, short dark lavender hair, and with the intense look" as I point my finger at the proportions of the character.
We didn't notice ,we are so close, and I just hear his calm voice speaking "you are a great artist" he smiled at me closely and I bit blushes on my face since I was not good when a man so sweet to me.
After a few minutes, my phone rang many times and I slowly picked up my phone and stare at all of the new messages, It was all about two people keep texting and asking If they can be my partner.
I just sighed "again and again"
and I lift my hand to signify to Nao "I'll be right back, I just want to wash my face because I have feeling dizzy for a moment" I said while looking far away..
he just nodded "ok, go ahead, I'll be waiting here"
"Thank you" and I walked forward eagerly and went to the nearest bathroom to relax and a few moments later, I slowly go out with a dizzy face and I step a little like I bump someone on my legs. As I looked below, a young man with brown hair shown up while kneeling his one leg "Can you be my partner?" Nao smiled while showing his palm as offering to be my partner
and I was stunned for a moment
